Very cool, wasn't Mattel going to show some Real Ghostbusters figures?

Its 2015 and a sculpt under 1:6 scale still looks like shit??? Can we just teach these sculpters how a 3d scanner/printer works. This isn't 1990. We don't need "almost " headsculpts. At $25 each, This better be Dan Akroid sitting on my shelf bitching about my TV being on 24/7 and the rest of the gang telling him to shut up. I want these things to look so real that I need glass after staring at them for so long. I want these to look so good I could charge for autographs.

Looks like my Mattel figures are going into storage. Bring them on!

They look really good, but I was never a big GB fan.

Not sure about Winston's headsculpt, but apart from that these look pretty good. I'm more interested in seeing the new Real Ghostbusters figures Mattel promised us though, as long as they're 6-inch collector-aimed and not more 4-inch kid-aimed trash like the DC multiverse ones....
Man seeing these just reminds me how amazing it would be if Mattel or Diamond did a new 6" scale Firehouse playset aimed at collectors, like a pimped-out updated adult-aimed version of the classic Kenner playset. A bit like how the recent MOTUC Castle Grayskull was like an update of the old Grayskull playset.

Stantz scan looks like Bill Hader, but def better than the Mattel one. Any new or continuing GB line excites me so I'm down.

According to Diamond's lineup sheet Dana is also scheduled but no pics yet
Wonder if they have the rights to Ramis and Murray? Surely they wouldn't proceed without, but then IIRC Mattel had a bit of trouble signing Murray for their line.
Would be good for the collectors if Diamond eventually did a 7" scale Ecto 1, Mattel's attempt was just pathetic and laughable with the ridiculous price they tried to charge and the fact that they expected collectors to trust them and preorder sight unseen, despite the fact that they compromised several of their promises for the MOTUC Castle Grayskull preorder. But of course, it was the market/demand that was the problem, nothing to do with Mattel's poor choices in any way, no no no...

Winston is a bit weak, but I think Ray looks great. They may not be 100% perfect, but they're still a lot better than the Mattel figures.

This is just the first wave. 3 figures per wave. They announced they are doing 12 figures total. And some may be variations of preexisting characters. I'm hoping that means we will get the four of them covered in burnt marshmallow.
If I had to guess....
4 original members.
4 marshmallow members.
1 Slimer.
1 Dana Barrett.
1 hell dog. (buy two if need be)
1 Zuul.

The figures look great.
I have Mattel's offerings.
What I want now are Funko Reaction versions of the Ghostbusters.

Then we could get 3 new characters? The more the merrier.

I think they're ok but I don't really think they're different enough or better than Mattel to justify buying basically the same line over. The scans, just like Mattel's leave a bit to be desired but the body and equipment molds look a little better.
What this does make me think is that could Diamond Select get the Turtles license and do the 1990 Movie figures that Playmates should have done?

Some accuratly sculpted and painted TMNT movie figs! I want Super Shredder and Rahzar. Maybe the 4 varients could be pink slimmed Ghostbusters. All with Connecting bases.
