Okay, I was wondering if any of you could possibly help me here:
I have an Epson Workforce 315 All-In-One printer/scanner/copier, which I mainly use to print and scan. Somehow, I must have knocked some connections loose somehow. At first it wouldn't do anything, even though it was on. That's when I noticed an empty port, where a cord should be. I found about three cords unhooked on one end, under my desk. I tried them all, and the only one that worked, only brought the printer back to life. If I try to scan something, it tells me the scanner isn't connected, and guides me towards an Epson troubleshooting guide, that does no good. I was wondering if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, or if there something else I'm completely missing. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you restarted after plugging them in?

Have you restarted after plugging them in? That did it! I don't restart the thing manually too often, so I never thought of that. Thank you so much.

I have a WorkForce500 myself, but I've come to notice especially with USB, if its acting a little off, just restart and 99% of the time its the fix.
