ROCK AROUND THE BLOCH (FTD BOOK & CD) Late February release planned for this new FTD title, which will include a remastered CD with extras from Elvis' 1961 Hawaii Benefit Concert in Hawaii, the proceeds from which were donated towards the construction of the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbour. I'M EXCITED AS This one? Nah. His 1961 show. Which would be his last public performance before the first day of taping for the 68 comeback. I've heard the concert before in pretty solid sound, but I hope it's better with this FTD release. I was thinking about getting the bootleg set of it called Such A Night in Pearl Harbor, but there's no need now. |

This is the bootleg of the show (well newest released bootleg of the show) --
Pretty solid sound, but I read it's pretty much a rip of the Elvis Aron Presley set version RCA put out a while back, just with a few "corrections" I guess? Never heard the version on the boxset. Hoping the FTD sounds better, would be thrilling.
