Okay as we all know, Marvel has like a billion events going on right now..and I'm confused on the order of what is happening where ?!!
For Example..Axis and Spider verse, along with Doc Green taking out Hulks, Thor being on the otherside of the universe , but due to Axis playing poker in a casino,Is Cap/Falcon inverted in the new Cap books while fighting Batroc..Spidey fighting along side Deadpool but hes in another dimension, Avengers we have Hulk knocking out Captain Marvel, but I thought she was off planet ? Is Tony Superior in Avengers along with the Illuminatti ? Any help would work..God does anyone remember in the old school Marvel books they would give lil * this took place before or during and give a issue ...arrrrh i think I just gave myself a headache

Honestly, it's the main reason I don't read regularly anymore. I just pick up the occasional trade after the fact here and there. It's too confusing and too expensive to try and keep up with everything now.

Continuity matters, don't you know that!?!?
Actually, that's what every Marvel apologist will tell you. I have, since this past summer, slowly dwindled my Marvel list to only a dozen titles. I'm sick of the never-ending crossover, three $3.99 issues of most series a month, and the self cover that dissolves if you look at it funny.
The crossovers used to at least be something to kind of anticipate with proper build, and ramifications that lasted at least a year. What the hell did Infinity, Original Sin, Age of Ultron, and Axis really achieve? Point is, after Secret Invasion there was Dark Reign, after Siege there was the Heroic Age. After Original Sin, there was Axis. Axis was three issues in already while Guardians was having Original Sin tie ins. And then Original Sin had a cash grab annual.
Seems to me Marvel is heading towards another crash. They think they can get away with ravaging their shrinking fanbase's wallets while a mass Exodus of people are turning to Image Comics. And writers like Kirkman, Snyder, and Brubaker are legitmizing it along the way.
I want must read Marvel back. Remember the good that came after the last crash? The Ultimate Universe, Bendis' Daredevil, Avengers being really good again (arguably even during Bendis' run), Alias, Punisher becoming a MAX title, and so on. Maybe a crash needs to happen. Maybe writers will try harder and events will stick. Marvel Now! was a perfect opportunity to make the books lean and muscular again, and it didn't, so why should I believe Secret Wars will do any different? Probably just going to be an excuse to kill the Fantastic Four, X-men, and claim that all remaining Mutants are actually Inhumans (because those are just the greatest and most important characters and Marvel has ALWAYS loved them), and then make everything like the movies.

Don't worry. Marvel is ending in April and everything is starting all over. Every comic is starting at one with a clean slate.

I'm not going to call you a liar, but you obviously have been misinformed.

I am curious to see what the Secret Wars story arc is going to do to the universe as a whole though. I'm sure they're going to use it as a way to wipe some mistakes clean and bring some characters back to life. Just like pretty much every major story arc does.
