I'm a Mets fan, but every divisional game gets blacked out during the regular season. That blackout rule makes MLB Network near pointless to me. Though we get the AAA affiliate for the White Sox. Meh.

I used to go a few times a year to see the Nats. Then, I would randomly get free tickets and have seen Houston, Atlanta, Florida, Pittsburgh and a few other teams. Always at Shea, none at Citi Field.

Citi is definitely more of tourist attraction than Shea was. I used to have season tickets. Being there for the final game of their 07 collapse was unreal. You could actually feel the stadium get depressed as the Marlins went up 8-1. Seeing Johans no hitter though was incredible. I definitely miss the big baseball experience. We to a AAA game last season, paid $40 to sit behind home plate. Only plus to the minors lol.

I still blame Jose Reyes for igniting the Marlins the prior day. He nearly had a fight with the Marlins catcher, whose name I forget right now. They were losing 13-1 I believe and Jon Niese nearly threw a no-hitter. They had nothing to play for but that woke them up.

Good young pitching, should be a solid bullpen. Just absolutely nothing on offense. Who's your team? Nats?

Then, around the age of 13, when I started to actually learn about the sport, I didn't like the team the Yankees had. I kind of just spent the next year or two learning more about the sport. In 2005, I chose the Nationals because they had just changed from the Expos and I picked them in a video game and liked them. Since then I've been a way. From Ryan Zimmerman getting drafted, to back to back 59 win seasons, to drafting Harper and Strasburg, to the playoffs two of the last three years, I've been through it with them.

Main reason I became a Mets fan was because of how many Yankee fans were around me. Also why I root for the Red Sox whenever the Mets get eliminated mathematically, so after about 3 games into the season I start cheering for Boston usually. Nats got a damn good rotation this year, I'm looking forward to seeing Harvey vs Strasburg again.

It's crazy to think that Strasburg was ranked fourth among Nats starters in the MLB Network Top 100 (Max #11, Zimmermann #35, Fister #68, Strasburg #69). Harvey is awesome. I've watched him dominate the Nationals before. Bryce Harper may need to calm down on some of the things he's been saying. He's putting a target on their backs.

I haven't paid much attention to what Bryce has been saying, but I caught one thing about the World Series. I think Mets fans are going to start hating the Nats like they do the Phillies, but Philadelphia still has the worst fanbase in sports. Despite being division rivals, I don't hate the Nats yet. Once both teams are contenders that might change. But yeah, Nats are stacked. I still don't get the massive contract to the bearded right field who's name eludes me, but I guess long term it hasn't effected them too much.

Interestingly, seven year/$126 million deals seem to be cursed. I think it was done as a message to other teams saying "We're gonna be big spenders now." Oh well, at least he hit that Game 4 Walk-Off in 2012, giving me my favorite moments in Nats history.

Hard to follow baseball when nothing is around lol. I'm hoping I'll have a favorite Nats moment this year with the Mets eliminating them from Divison contention

Actually, the Mets have a chance to be in playoff contention. The Braves seem to have taken a step back (but I'm sure they'll still win the season series against the Nats) and the Phillies/Marlins don't seem to be better.

Yeah, I think we got a WC shot this season. I think the Nats take the East pretty comfortably, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Mets either get a WC spot, or at least fall just short, which would still be an improvement. Mets/Cubs Wild Card game, calling it now.

Just like I did with Kansas City last year.

Guess I'll put a hundred on the Astros to win it all.
