This is my home made announce table. This one is made just out of cardboard and electrical tape but I plan on making them out of wood soon. This is more of a template. I'm curious if anyone has an idea how to make it break without being a pain to piece back together? Also, how does the scale size look? Any comments or suggestions will be great! Thanks

Lol when I moved this table got wrecked so I scrapped it. I have no plans this weekend so I intend to work on the stage I'm building and I guess I'll start another announce table. I'll try my best to make a tutorial =P

How'd the stage turn out man? I saw in another thread that you picked a sh*t ton of figures and an Elite Scale Ring, I'd love to see what kind of set up you have for it. This place needs more people like you, showing of their work! I dunno if you remade the announce table, but if you made it the same way you could maybe wrap some of the parts in tin foil and use the black tape on the rest so it doesn't look like cardboard? The tin foil would also be a good idea if you used cardboard for your stage. You could also do what I did years ago on one of my cardboard stages; Cut a hole in the cardboard and cover it with foil. Then you could use it as a break through part of the stage.

I remember I made one years ago using one of those tri-fold science fair poster bard things and some heating/cooling ductwork tape, which is basically tin foil tape. Worked pretty well.

Check out my hobgoblin flaming tables thread from last year. I made breakable steel tables.

All I have done is the base put together and the steel cut for the stage top and ramp. I have 6 days off starting tomorrow, I plan on painting the stage base and the steel then tinker with some ideas for how I want the entrance to be set up. I'll make sure to post some pics!

Forgot to add... The cardboard table I made was just a proto for scale and style. My original plan was to figure it all our and make the final piece from colored acrylic. I think I might pass on making tables for now and just purchase some in the future. I have nowhere to permanently set this stuff up where I'm currently living. I plan on moving into a bigger place come March or February, so the extra room will be a display / Hobbie room There's still a chance I might make some though. I enjoy building and tinkering around with stuff. We'll see..
