I'm not one to complain but the servings at Subway are pretty measly. I order the veggie delight and they literally put 4 small spinach leaves on the entire sandwich and same for every other leafy green added. I mean when I'm paying the same price as a sub with meat and getting less it's kind of irritating. A worker even laughed when he saw how little was in the sandwich. Lately with the new employees it's been better though and they add more if I ask. I don't have any personal stories though.

I had some bad customers today actually. I work in a grocery store.
Anyway, I was getting a price check on a box of cereal, and this elderly couple came up and asked for my help. They said they wanted corn flakes, with sugar. So I go over and grab Frosted Flakes. He said that wasnt what he wanted, so I told him that if it was a cereal, it would be on this aisle and that I would help him find it. So I helped him look for 5 minutes. I tried to explain to him that frosted flakes were corn flakes with sugar on them. He just flat out said I was lying and didnt know what I was doing. He asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over and talked with him while I went to bag more groceries. These people came to my register and you know what they left with? That same damn box of frosted flakes that I gave him in the first place! And they didnt even say they were sorry or anything for calling me a liar.
Those kind of people piss me off to no end.

I go to Subways a lot and usually meet the same employees again which is fine. I just hate those new employees especially the girls who talk with a fake cheer leading voice. It annoys me when employee's talk to me like that, is it too hard to talk normal? It's one of the reasons why I don't really like going to In N Out. Also sometimes the Subway employees could exchange the food that's been sitting there with fresh food. I remember getting rotten lettuce on my sandwich when there was hardly any left, it wouldn't be to difficult to exchange it with new and fresh lettuce.

I have shared this on here before...
I worked at a Subway for over 3 years. My first job.
We had a local lady who would come in all the time and smelled like rotten flesh. She would order food and dine-in. The whole place would smell like sh*t for hours and customers would constantly complain about her and the stench she left behind.
Fast forward a couple years and I got hired at the PD in that same town. We got called there for a "mental welfare check". It turns out, she had been pooping and peeing on her living room floor for YEARS to the point where it soaked through into the basement.
We transported her to the hospital for a mental evaluation and they tore the house down soon after.

Oddest? Stinky lady is probably the nastiest.
Hmm...I went to a training called "Crisis Intervention Team" a while back and the whole course is aimed towards dealing with mental patients. Although, in most cases their brains are just fried from drug abuse.
I work in a college town and one of the oddest calls was a student tripping out on LSD. He was literally having three hallucinations going on at the same time. One minute he'd want to fight, the next he'd be scraming out different colors "PURPLE! GREEN! ORANGE!" and the next minute he'd be mumbling to himself.
Also had a guy hopped up on bath salts try to beat his father to death with a frying pan to the head. When we got there he was speaking in tongues. That bath salts sh*t is nasty but seems to have gone down in use. I've seen people hopped up on that stuff hallucinating dinosaurs, military tanks and snipers in their backyard.

Too many to share. I've been working at a pizzeria for over 20 years. We're an old-school pizzeria with no fax machine, no web site, and no Wi-Fi. Here are some stories.
A guy calls up & asks if we deliver. I tell him we do. He then says he wants me to get the order he just placed at the Chinese restaurant next door & bring it to him. I just hung up on him.
A kid calls & orders 2 large pizzas for a delivery. I deliver them. He takes the pizzas inside & says he'll be right back with the money. He comes back 5 minutes later & gives me the pizzas back & says, "Sorry. I can't find my wallet. You'll have to take them back." So I take them back to the shop & when I open the boxes, he had replaced the pizzas with newspapers. I went back to the address & the kids were nowhere in sight. Little bastards.
A woman calls for a pizza with artichoke & red onion. I tell her we don't carry those toppings. She tells me, "Well, go to Shop Rite (a local supermarket) & get them." Bitch.
A guy places an order for a delivery. He asks if we can stop at the bar first & bring his buddy over. I did, and the bastard didn't tip me.
(Not a horror story, but one I like). I did a delivery last year to the elementary school. A little special needs girl comes up to me & says "Hi. I'm Mikayla. I'm 5. I go to this school. I like it here" I replied, "Hi. I'm the pizza man. I'm 43. I don't like my job. This is why you should say in school." Her mother smiled at me & started laughing.

I deal with rude ignorant ed up customers on a daily basis. I get into a war of words with at least one old person per shift. It usually never gets to me for an extended period of time but this one time About two weeks back Some old guy who was obviously drunk as a skunk starts BS with me sayig I need training and I'm an idiot etc etc. So I started to back off before I went ape$hit and the guy has the nerve to say by doing that I was accusing him of being intoxicated and that he was going to get me fired. I explained I have ppl in my family suffering from alchohism and he said "no one gives a aboht you or your family " I told him to have a good day and he called me a walking condradiction. I had to leave my register for a few mins as I was shaken up after that. So about three days later guess who I see walking out of the liquor store. Yup. The old bastard. He didn't seem to recognize me as he came out he said to me "what's up buddy" I immediately got up in his face and asked him if he had anything to say to me or my family now. He tried putting his bike in between us so I took it and tossed it across the parking lot. I was getting ready to lay this dude on his ass when I noticed the store owners rushing outside to break us up. He kept telling me "you've got the wrong guy" but I knew it was him he was just too drunk to remember me. Anyway in the end I made the bunghole piss his pants. He did end up coming back to my store the other day and I think he recognized me this time because he didn't say ONE WORD he tucked his tail and left. Moral of the story don't with your cashier

So I've been following this thread and keep wondering if I want to tell my stories.. I worked at McDonalds from January until December 2007, from midnight until 8 AM. No one good is roaming about from midnight until 4 or 5 AM and I encountered a lot of these folks.
- All summer long, we had a group of 20 somethings that we called "The Drive Thru Dancers". They'd pull up and order a bunch of food. We kept no food on hand, so any order was made to order. They were cool with the wait. Maybe a little too cool, because for their wait, they turned the light on under their car, cranked up the music, hopped out and danced around the car in the parking lot until their food was cooked.
- Mid summer, we seen an odd car pull up and just stop in the parking lot. At 3 AM, you're cautious of people so we watched what they were doing on the camera. This 20 something girl gets out, walks around her car.... and squats down and starts pissing right in the middle of our parking lot. We watch her on camera. It was borderline pornographic but absolutely hilarious, and even more hilarious when we dealt with this girl face to face moments later.
- A fellow started coming through towards the end of the summer. Wanted two fish sandwiches and wanted them fresh. All well and good, everything is being cooked fresh. He always pulled a trailer behind him. Guy was kind of weird, but everyone's a little quirky and you've got to be off center to be going through McDonalds every night at 2 AM. Turns out this guy wanted more than a fish sandwich.. He wanted the girl who was working there. And started acting REALLY creepy with her. Things I'm pretty sure I can't talk about on this family friendly message board. Yeah... And I'm 95% sure I can't say what the trailer was called from then on out, rhymes with "Grape Bagon".
- 2007 is when Youtube really started to blow up and everyone thought they were funny pranksters. A favorite prank became people asking for a glass of water (no charge) and then when handed it, they'd throw it back at the person in the window. Look you (something something something), I'm making minimum wage and I'm here at ungodly hours. I shouldn't have to put up with your bullcrapbecause you think you're funny, and I shouldn't have to clean up your mess. After dealing with it almost every day for a week, I got to the point where I wouldn't even hand out water glasses. I'd tell people, I'm setting this on the ledge, do not reach for it until I shut the window. I'd shut the window and they could have it, only when they couldn't throw it back at me. One guy still tried, throwing it at the window. It bounced off and back into his car. Hilarious
- In regards to throwing things, this fat sack of crap came through and threw a Big Mac in my face because it didn't have onions on it or something. The next week, he came through with his buddies and expected service. He was so shocked that I refused to serve him after he threw a very messy sandwich in my face.
- Spitting. I had a woman spit on me. She was SHOCKED when I threw MY drink in her face. Let's see, felony assault (any assault with bodily fluids) to an innocent person, versus self defense with a clear but sticky cola (I used to drink nothing but Sprite). There was a police officer right behind her. She got out of her "I WANT TO TALK TO YOUR MANAGER" idea real quick when I said I'd rather talk about it with the cop, about the felony assault.
- Speaking of assault, a man tried to come in my window, throwing punches as he struggled to climb through the window. He was absolutely shocked when he got his hand slammed in the window, and then I refused to open the window, or let my manager open the window. Sorry, not into getting stabbed or robbed.
