Daily Mail (yeah I know) claiming that Vidal to Man Utd, Khedira to Arsenal and Di Maria to PSG are all but done.
Good signings all around if true.

I doubt both Khedira and ADM will go, although one of them might. Both would be too much of a change imo. I think ADM is more likely as Real have consistently ignored his talent and tried to sell him, so no change there. Ancelotti loves Khedira and tried to rush him back from injury for the CL final so I don't really see it happening.

I know that Di Maria and Khedira are more key to Real than the two are for Barca but stranger things have happened.

I think they'll push Isco back to fit in where Di Maria was playing at times and then possibly try and move for James Rodriguez and Falcao.

Well Toni Kroos has said he's going to Real so he'll fit in somewhere.

Spose Khedira is a goner. Still think they should keep him though.
At this rate I think Liverpool need to pick up their business. If we get Vidal and Arsenal get Khedira then the front 6s of City/United/Chelsea/Arsenal will all be fantastic, whereas Liverpool lost their best and most important player from last season.

I would give a testicle for us to sign Marco Reus. Not going to happen but he would be a dream signing.

Looks like james Rodriquez to Real should happen if he's apparently agreed terms.

I'll never understand the allure of the Spanish league - at least from a footballing perspective... Barca, Real, Atletico and maybe Valencia aside, it's basically the equivalent of the championship. That being said, of course many players opt for Spain, because they couldn't hack it in the Premier League. Spose Khedira is a goner. Still think they should keep him though. What's so "fantastic" about United's front 6? Really set the world alight last season, didn't they? I doubt Vidal will make that much of a difference.

Adding Vidal & Herrera, RVP playing under someone he likes, Mate more settled, Januzaj only getting better. Vidal is imo the best CM in the world, and probably the most complete player in the world (not best) as he can do pretty much everything - defend, score, pass, header, dribble, penalties. That's massive in a side where central midfield has been our weakness for a couple of years. As for the allure of Spain, I think it is the cultural affinity with South American players. They grow up seeing Real & Barca as 'the' teams. I hope that some great Asian players will come through, and then their allure will be the PL as its so big over there.

Breaking our transfer record £7-9M for Leonardo Ulloa it seems. Trust Nigel to get it right even if the fee does seem a bit silly.

It's not much different though than Southampton buying Rodriguez from Burnley for roughly the same amount, and that's turned out to be a very good signing. I think Ulloa will be fine. £7m in this marketplace isn't really anything.

We're struggling to scrape £2mil together for Craig Dawson... Doesn't help the fact we've gone up with 2 mega money sides.

True, the difference is that Ulloa is quite a bit older than Rodriguez was when he went to Southampton, but I do think that he'll play a key role in keeping us up. I don't think Burnley will embarrass themselves, I'd be surprised if you stay up, but you surprised everyone last year so who's to say it can't happen again? Deeney would be a very interesting addition if that happens.

All quiet on the Vidal front at least some Liverpool fans think they can get Reus for £20m, that's fun to watch

At this rate I'd be happy not to do a Derby County. Might sound disrespectful to the players that got us here, but I think we had a better squad last time round plus other factors made it a bit less stressful for us (eg Portsmouth's financial trouble). I just fear this promotion will do us more harm than good. If we go down our better players will probably want to seek Premier League football again. Ings only has one year left on his contract and will probably leave on a free... Sounding very pessimistic here, but really looking forward to the adventure again and hopefully we can create some special memories once again regardless of the final outcome.
As for Reus, think 44mil was the figure being thrown about but Liverpool were very quick to deny interest anyway.

Look at Palace last season, they were probably in a similar position to you (if not worse) and they came through in the end. Given, they had to get a new manager in and splash a bit of cash in January but there's no reason Burnley can't have a good season.
