I dunno, I think the fur is the cost reason to make this figure a DM release, it looks like quality stuff. I think Mattel could pull off the red Wrestlemania 8 robe if they didn't include a belt. It was a bit less intricate. Mr. Wonderful's robe is nothing to sneeze at and it got in the Legends line.

Somebody has a loose one on ebay...up to $100 already. It's so stupid though, no robe, no belt and I dunno...I'd rather have the excitement of finding it in the store or on rsc and the opening it. Plus, ya know, paying a reasonable price

I read so many complaints on here about MDT always using red and black attires on figures and when we get something different like this, people still complain. SMH
I love that the figure is in his powder blue trunks, regardless of what color the robe is (which looks spectacular). This was the attire I was hoping for first so I'm ecstatic. Besides yall know at some point we're going to get a black trunks Flair and a red trunks Flair and probably many more in various colors to come.
Stop nitpicking things to death and just appreciate the fact that we will finally have Flair in the Mattel line.

I know I'm a broken record. Just love the guy and want even his figures treated right. I've watched way too many of his matches and just know how the guy coordinated his outfits. I mean I'm sorta grasping at straws to think he ever did a photo shoot with the Four Horsemen in this getup but I can't even really confirm that. Just wished it was all black attire like he would've worn it. I wish they just opted to make an accurate 1992 Royal Rumble Ric Flair with a head that better matched that era. Instead we have this weird ass hybrid. Hey mang, I'll buy any Flair to be honest. But 1992 Rumble is a "Defining Moment" if there ever was one. The greatest moment Flair ever had in the WWF/E. |

What is the attire based on ? Didn't Flair always match his robe to his gear? Maybe that robe will be blue?

He just about always matched his gear to the robe. Non-conforming for Flair was wearing a red or purple gear with a pink robe. It was never something like this, especially in his prime. Maybe yellow boots with green trunks and a green robe.

Defining Moments is back!!!! I hope so! But if the line was making a return, wouldn't we have heard of or seen more than just Flair? . Maybe it's a test figure if it sells well more will be coming |

Damn good figure. This is the attire I was hoping for. I'm sure if they would have done a blue robe to match, it would have killed the budget for that wave. Very happy that we have a robed flair with a belt.

The mismatched attire/robe doesn't bother me one bit. Just excited that we are finally getting the Nature Boy! WOOOOO!

We are going to get a bunch of flairs and hopefully a fre robes. Later in his carrer he always mishmashed his gear. Orange robe, black trunks with red letters, blue knee pads ect. Im sure he wore diff color trunks with that robe, which to me is his most famous one. And mattel likes to realse outfits that have never been on figures, and to my knowledge thats pretty much the case with this excact outfit. I dont know how you could be anything other than overjoyed and optimistic with this figure and the future of the mattel line
