TNA spoilers 5/1 and partial 5/8

[The Natural Eddy Valintino]

* Backstage segment with Eric Young and MVP. Gunner, Bobby Roode and Mr. Anderson interrupt. MVP lays out a deck of cards and tells them to pick a card. The ones with the highest cards get to face the winner of the lowest drawing cards. Anderson and Gunner get the lower cards, Roode gets the higher card. Roode will face the winner of an Anderson vs. Gunner match. The winner of that match gets a World Title shot tonight.

* Magnus comes out and cuts a promo on wanting another title shot. Abyss runs in from the crowd and attacks him. Abyss goes for Janice but Magnus escapes.

* Gunner defeated Mr. Anderson. James Storm tried to interfere to no luck.

* Bully Ray comes out with a table. He has "Dixie" written on it. Bully talks about Sacrifice and threatens to put Dixie through a table. This got a good pop.

* Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud come out and announce a match against Kurt Angle for next week. Tonight, he will be doing a sparring session against Spud. Kurt angle interrupts and says he will end EC3's streak next week.

* Bobby Roode defeated Gunner to become the new #1 contender.

* Dixie Carter comes out surrounded by security. The guards bring in Ray's table. Dixie sits on top of it and cuts a promo on Bully, taunting him for getting put through a table at Sacrifice. Bully comes out but security holds him back. The fans chanted for Dixie to get put through the table. All but a few guards leave and Bully takes them out. He goes to powerbomb Dixie through a table but MVP comes out and orders Ray to let go of Dixie. MVP bans Dixie and Bully from the building.

* Willow defeated James Storm by DQ when Storm pushed the referee down. Storm grabbed a piece of glass but Willow hit him with his umbrella. Mr. Anderson ran down and hit a Mic Check on Storm.

* Velvet Sky and Angelina Love come out and brag about Angelina's win at Sacrifice. Officials told them to wear something more appropriate tonight but they start stripping out of their long dresses but stop and start insulting the fans. Angelina calls out Gail Kim. Gail comes in for a fight but Velvet and Angelina leave. They run into Brittany and Madison Rayne on the ramp. Madison and Brittany strip Velvet and Angelina out of their dresses and send them running.

* The Wolves and Sanada defeated BroMans and Zema Ion.

* Eric Young retained the World Heavyweight Title over Bobby Roode.


5/8 (partial)

* Knux defeated Kazarian. Knux came out with his family, a bunch of carny characters. He had Rebel, the female from his videos, a crazy clown with balloons, a large masked man and two guys walking on stilts.

* Eric Young came out and said he's a champion who wrestles and will be defending the title every week. Bobby Roode comes out and wants a rematch from last week. Roode sucks up to Young and they shake on the match. Roode says if he loses, he'll never ask EY for a title shot again.

* Ethan Carter III defeated Kurt Angle. Towards the end of the match, Angle went down on his knee and the referee put up the X symbol to call for help. Angle waved the X off but got caught by a spear from Ethan for the win.

* MVP comes out and says Young vs. Roode won't be happening. He says Young can't make his own matches. MVP says he will have a blockbuster opponent for Young at Slammiversary. Roode comes out and he's pissed off. They have words and Roode shoves MVP. They brawl until referees and security gets in between.

The Knux thing sounds like a cross between the Wyatt Family and the Rosebuds. Definitely sounds right up my alley though.

the rest of the spoilers for the 8th:

* MVP comes out and brings Eric Young out. MVP puts over Young and introduces a #1 contender for Slammiversary but nobody comes out. MVP says we will find out next week but turns and lays Young out. MVP reveals himself as the new #1 contender and will see Young at Slammiversary.

* Backstage segment with Magnus and a new guy named Bram. He's actually former NXT star Kenneth Cameron of The Ascension.

* Willow defeated Magnus by DQ when Bram destroyed Willow. Bram beat Willow around ringside and handcuffed him to the ropes. Bram beat Hardy with a piece of the turnbuckle.

* Velvet Sky and Angelina Love defeated Brittany and Madison Rayne in an elimination style Evening Gown match. It came down to Madison and Angelina. Velvet distracted the referee with nothing bu a towel on, allowing Angelina to get the win on Madison by stripping her.

* The Wolves defeated BroMans in a Ladder Match with the TNA Tag Team Titles on the line. Zema Ion tried to get involved but they took him out also.


Below are full spoilers for the May 15th episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, taped on Tuesday night. Some segments may have been taped out of order or for the following week.

* Kazarian defeated Crazzy Steve with Knux and the rest of their carny group. Their theme song played during the whole match and there was a pink & green lighting. Steve goofed around the whole match and got disqualified when he pulled the referee's pants down.

* Eric Young comes out and talks about MVP turning on him last week. He says he would have granted MVP a title shot because he's a fighting champion. EY calls MVP out for a match right now. MVP appears on the big screen and runs EY down.

* Willow defeated Bram and Magnus in a handicap match. Magnus got rolled up when arguing with Bram. Bram and Magnus argued some more after the match.

* James Storm defeated Mr. Anderson.

* Cameras go backstage and MVP is brawling with Young into the arena. MVP hits a low blow and accepts the challenge for tonight.

* Gail Kim calls out Velvet Sky and Angelina Love. Gail challenges and Angelina accepts. Velvet hits a cheapshot on Gail to start their match. Gail defeated Velvet with Eat Defeat. After the match, Angelina laid Gail out with the Knockouts Title.

* Sanada defeated Tigre Uno and Zema Ion in a Triple Threat with the X Division Title on the line.

* Eric Young retained the World Heavyweight Title over MVP by disqualification. MVP beat up Young before the match. Kenny King was there and attacked Young after the DQ. MVP demanded for a restart but the referee refused. King laid out the referee. Bobby Lashley's music hits and he looks like he's going to attack MVP and King but spears Young. Lashley puts Young through a pair of chairs. Impact ends with MVP, Lashley and King posing over EY.

There so much of this that I'm like "WTF am I watching?" And BTW, TNA signing Kenneth Cameron, I guess they'll even take the developmental guys from WWE lol. Plus didn't he attack a cop when he was arrested? Great signing TNA, you never fail to sign the f***ed up people that will make your company look bad. Anyway, I so called MVP booking himself for the World Title from the minute he started booking matches with himself. I'm shcoked it took him this long to do so. Also, with now with MVP heel, WTF? SMFH at this s***, I guess I'll be fast forwarding through most of these shows, cause the only matches I'm interesting in watching here are the X-Division matches with Sanada and Tigre Uno. The rest blows for me in my opinion. Almost forgot, why the f*** is Gail Kim back in the title picture? Can she stay the hell away from the title picture, I;m tired of the same Gail Kim in the title picture. Have Brittany challenge for the belt defending Madison, or give Madison another two months in the title picture, but I'm sick of Gail Kim in the title picture.

I love how TNA has two authority figures, and now both are heel. Wasn't MVP being brought in as the new 'investor' supposed to be the way to counter Dixie? Not exactly surprising to see him now have a stable too, since TNA always seems to love their stables.

Bram? Bram, really? That's the best they could come up with for a name? The only time I've ever heard that name is Bram Stoker. And so he debuts one week as Magnus' bodyguard, and the very next week they're already at eachother's throats? Seriously?

From their second appearance, Knux's new group sounds like a mix of the Wyatts, and The Oddities. Oh and I heard the name of this group is The Menagerie. I really don't see that being a long lasting group. Especially with Knux as the head. He is not a stable leader, he's a stable member.

I honestly can't stop laughing at the fact that of all things to do before facing someone in a title match and trying to get over as a bad guy, you low blow him backstage?

I've seen hardcore matches where someone gets a bowling ball to the junk mid-match. And for MVP to get an "advantage" for his title bout later on that night, he low blows him?

Nothing says fresh new direction like turning two guys heel and having them all gang up on the face champion.

Nothing says fresh new direction when one of them is a former WWE midcarder pushing 40 and the other is a former WWECW main event guy that most wrestling fans forgot about right after he got injured in 2007.

EDIT: Just checked and MVP is in fact already 40. Youth movement!!

They've never really given him a chance. He's either been the muscle of the British Invasion (and for the record, the second best member of the group behind Doug Williams) or he's been a comedy guy with Robbie E. They looked like they were gonna give him a singles run and they shipped his ass to Wrestle-1. He's not nearly as awful as people say he is (dude used to do jumping spin kicks for the love of God) and if they handled him right he could be a decent mid level babyface for them.
