Hey guys, just wanted to give my fellow Canadians a heads-up on what some of my upcoming plans are for selling off a bunch of old figures from my collection. Coming up next Saturday, I will be going down to our storage unit where I've literally got bins and bins of old stuff and we are taking it all out. Of course, I've got to take a look through it and pick out what I REALLY want to keep, but the goal is to try and sell most of it off.
The majority of the items I've got are from the WWE Jakks Classic Superstars series. ALL of it is still MOC or MIB, brand new, never opened. Lots of great single carded figures, as well as 2-packs and even 3-packs from what I remember. I haven't seen the stuff since I moved over 4 years ago. It just been in storage, packed away safely in bins.
Now, I've seen what some of these other sellers on eBay are trying to get for the same stuff I've got and I wouldn't dare try to sell what they are asking for. Since I do want to sell most of it off, I would probably be asking for half or possibly even less than that, just to make sure it goes.
You collectors out there won't want to miss out on these great deals. I am not quite sure if we would be having a big garage/yard sale like last time or if I should just list everything on Kijiji. I think Kijiji would be the better option.
As much as I would want to hold onto all this great stuff, I just can't. I simply don't have the room for it anymore. I would want them to go to another collector who would enjoy them as much as I have.
Even though I don't have the room to display them, I definitely enjoyed having them in my collection, whether they were in storage or not. If I have to take a bit of a hit in order to sell them, then that's the way it goes. There WILL be great deals for sure. I promise you guys that.
You will NOT find these figures anywhere for what I will be selling them for. That is a guarantee.
For example, from what I remember, I do have a MOC "Extreme Superstars" 2-pack of Mick Foley and Terry Funk. There are currently 3 listed on eBay, two for over a hundred and the other for $63. I would be willing to sell mine for between $30-$40, WAY less than what they are hoping to get. I think that is a tremendous deal for that rare 2-pack. You cannot find it anywhere for that cheap.
That's just ONE example I am throwing out there of the deals I will be offering. There will be TONS more.
If you are a collector, you do not want to miss out. As soon as I get it out of storage and take a look through, I will be listing it on Kijiji, so keep your eyes peeled.

I'm hoping they don't skip 27 here Okay thanks for letting me know. I've been feeling so down lately and figured if the new elites would be out it would be a minor cheer up. oh well! I'm still mad that Rikishi wasn't a part of any of the cases they received. I have store credit there from trading in some old toys and I can't stand ordering things online, so I guess I will never have him in my collection. I'm anticipating E28 in the next month or so at TRU or Toy Traders though. |
