WFWF Championship
“The King of Demons” Trace Demon (c) vs. “The Best” Thunder vs. ”The King of Masochists” Shawn Malakai vs. ”Black-Hearted” Solomon vs. “The Princess of WFWF” Scarlett Quinn
Here we have ourselves a somewhat important matchup.
Trace Demon, man, legend, WFWF World Heavyweight Champion. In recent memory few have held such an aura of dominance and control over the WFWF. Over the past two years Trace Demon has proven himself to be one of the very best, his accolades over that very period including the longest International Championship reign in history, a complete takeover of the WFWF, entry into the WFWF Hall of Fame and an undefeated streak that stretches all the way back to 2012. But all of that pales in comparison to his desire to be, and remain, the WFWF World Champion. Be it betraying his friends, destroying his body and breaking the mind of young Scarlett Quinn the King of Demons has done everything in his power to grab hold of the most important prize in the company, and now he has it he doesn’t intend to let it go.
But now challengers come from all sides, enemies rising in numbers by the week. Trace Demon may own the WFWF but he doesn’t control those who seek to take the title from him. Week after week he has done everything in his power to undermine and manipulate the four who seek to dethrone him with varying levels of success but at Superbrawl none of that matters. Five step foot into Hell in a Cell with one leaving as World Champion. Trace Demon has pledged it to be him no matter what odds he must overcome or who he may destroy. His message and game plan is clear – he is the smartest man in the WFWF and he’ll rely on that to overcome the greatest challenge he has ever faced. Will it be enough or will the King of Demons fall back to hell without gold around his waist? It’s time to find out.
Let's look at the last SuperBrawl, shall we? Solomon was nowhere to be found near that card, nor was he anywhere to be found in this federation. Fast forward three years later to Scars and Stripes. All the favorites going in made it to the SuperBrawl Main Event: Shawn Malakai, Thunder, Ace Bennett (What ever happened to that guy anyway) all won the match. But so did the biggest enigma in Solomon. He leapfrogged over every single roster member and captured the International Championship. The fact that he pulled off the sickest thing on television in a while on the go home show of Revolution, goes to show that Solomon is a dangerous man who is doing this for HER. Who she is, no one knows, but her influence has brought out the best, (or in this case, the worst) of the man they call Solomon.
Shawn Malakai is, for sure, a man who has made a career out of trying to do the right thing. Sure, he has gone about getting done what needs to be done in a very...questionable manner at times, but you know, who has not betrayed their best friend for gold a few times in their lifetime? Oh...no one, and that this is not the old Roman days anymore? Well sh*t. Putting it forward, Malakai has been on a mission as of late. He has come out in announcement that he has a very violent form of cancer and that this could very well be the last time we ever see him in a WFWF ring. And yet, he has continued to soldier on and try to do what he thinks it best for the WFWF, and that is rid it of the cancers that have been slowly killing it for years, so that when he goes, the company does not suffer the same fate. A pillar here in the WFWF for years, it now comes down to this final stand. Can he hold back the onslaught of the odds one more time and come out with the WFWF Championship? Or will this swan song end on a sour note?
There was once a time when Thunder was at the very top of the WFWF. At the height of his career, he achieved it all, becoming a member of the most elite group of all: grand slam champions. But by 2012, all of that was far in the past. His WFWF career grinded to a dismal halt, a lack of drive and apparently a lack of ability sending him to his lowest career point. Following a nearly endless run of losses, he made his exit. Upon returning to the WFWF, his goals were made very clear. Although aligning himself with former friend and enemy Shawn Malakai, the primary goal was to eradicate his previous dismal run in the company. The culmination of that goal was, and still remains one more WFWF Championship run. After a string of victories, he was able to make it to the finals of the International Title tournament, falling in the finals at Scars & Stripes. But on that same night, Thunder became co-winner of the Rumble, adding one more item to his resumé and more importantly ensuring he would get the shot he wanted. Thunder heads into Superbrawl VIII in his third main event at the biggest show of the year. This is, perhaps, the biggest one of them all. It marks the conclusion of a journey he set his sights on from the moment he returned. On the line is a chance for one final shot at glory, and to rewrite his legacy in the process.
Scarlett Quinn, the Princess of Wrestling. Coming from the legendary McGurk wrestling family, Scarlett has been on an incredible roll since her debut two years ago. It was at Scars and Stripes where things went to fall out of place for the Princess of Wrestling. Not only did she lose her WFWF World Heavyweight Champion to a man she once considered family, she was betrayed by her mentor and best-friend Penny Shannon. Scarlett has been rarely seen since her loss at Scars and Stripes, but can she make the turn-around at Superbrawl to reclaim her title and legitimacy as an active wrestler?
Ok, I lied. This match is a little more important than was let on to. There is a well known fact in life. Whoever controls the throne controls the kingdom. And in this match, we have a pair of kings, a princess, a 'sweet' joker and a man who once thought himself a God vying to rule the land. Each participant has a goal, a place that they would like to see the WFWF in, for better or worse. Some are noble. Some are selfish. Some are misunderstood. All are different, which gives this match significant importance. One could argue that this is the biggest match in the history of the WFWF. Who are we to argue such sound logic?
Oh, and they will all be trying to commit regicide inside of a cage. Cannot forget that. Exciting, eh?
Once in a Lifetime…TWICE! (Kind of)
Singles Match
WFWF National Championship
Drakz vs. “The King of Gore” Phillip Schneider
It is impossible to put into words how much of a blockbuster this match is.
Psycho Circus changed the WFWF landscape drastically. One title switch. That's all it took to flip everything. One fall. In one fall, the longest reigning WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, Phillip Schneider, lost his championship. In one fall, a woman was crowned the WFWF Heavyweight champion for the first time. And in one fall, Phillip Schneider disappeared.
When Phillip Schneider disappeared with his destroyed entourage at the end of Psycho Circus, no one thought it'd be the last time they'd see Schneider for over a year. After all, for the last year, Schneider had been the cornerstone of the WFWF and the face of the company. As a two time WFWF Hall of Famer, Schneider cemented his legacy once and for all with his record setting title reign. But the disappearing act that he pulled at the end of Psycho Circus left everyone baffled. How could a top star simply walk away like this? Where did he go? Why did he leave? When is he going to be back? It seemed like all of the questions were answered on the eve of Scars & Stripes when another WFWF Hall of Famer, Drakz, returned after his own lengthy sabbatical. Drakz made it a point to immediately call out Schneider and a match was made. Drakz vs. Schneider at Scars & Stripes. And as Scars & Stripes came and went, anyone tuning in to see Phillip Schneider was left salivating, because the former champion of the world was MIA at Scars & Stripes.
But Superbrawl season is a season for returns. It's a time when old characters and ghosts of the WFWF's past show up for one final go round. It came as a surprise to everyone, Drakz included, when his short lived persona Chaemo was one of the old characters and ghosts who turned up. Chaemo made his first appearance on Revolution, accepting the open contract that Drakz had extended for Superbrawl by knocking the former owner out cold with a sucker punch and a roll of quarters. Chaemo made several appearances to follow, each taunting Drakz more and more, teasing him by revealing his identity to only Drakz. And when Drakz threatened to blow the top off the whole thing and reveal to the world who Chaemo was, Chaemo did it himself... .....And it was Phillip Schneider. Schneider returned to Revolution in a big way, cutting a no punches pulled promo detailing his opinions on a variety of subjects but what wasn't directly addressed was the matter at hand, Superbrawl.
Superbrawl is a deja vu for Schneider. The last Superbrawl was his first opportunity at the WFWF National championship and now at the 2014 edition of the grandest stage of them all, it's a National title match once more. But this means more. This time around, it's the WFWF's two most tenured performers tangling for the very first time. It's two men who have done everything there is to do in the company, two men in elite company as multiple time Hall of Famers, who despite sharing the same ring for a decade, have never crossed paths. Ten years in the making, Phillip Schneider and Drakz will face off one on one at Superbrawl. No special stipulations. No weapons, no gimmicks, no cages.. This is a one on one wrestling match to determine who is the better man between these two legends. And it's one of their shot at immortality.
'Lest be not forgotten though:
It's been nearly 18 months since Drakz last laced his boots, yet he's called out one of the most renowned superstars of our time in Philip Schneider, a man who's career parallels his own.......almost. Having never faced one another you have to believe both Drakz and Schneider are looking to claim the victory and the right to truly call themselves the best this company has ever seen. Drakz has made it clear he's sticking around after Superbrawl and what better way to kick start this, perhaps the final chapter in his storied career, than with a pin fall over the longest reigning Heavyweight Champion of all time? Throw in the mind games of the previous few weeks, the fact this match is a straight up wrasslin' match and the big story that a victory here will finally grant Schneider the National Title and the status of Grand Slam Champion and you've got a strong match of the year candidate on your hands.
This is a match 10 years in the making between two of WFWF's legends. This is two men, both double Hall of Famers in their own right, both former Heavyweight Champions, going head to head and looking to steal the show.
This is what we've all been waiting for.
A match years in the making was supposed to happen a few weeks ago. Instead, as mentioned before, we were all left high and dry, waiting to see these two duke it out. But the fact that this is just a normal match in terms of rules? Well, we will see how well that goes over. There is a lot on the line, the biggest being egos and status. Neither of these men are known for going their whole careers playing by the rules. Schneider, ever the sadist, and Drakz, maybe the smartest guy to ever lace up, meet up in what will be the greatest match in the history of the WFWF. Believe the hype.
The End…is the Beginning?
Singles Action
WFWF International Championship
”Your Random Hero” Yukio Blaze (c) vs. Joe Bishop
A cliche phrase, but it fits here. We have the past and the present doing battle to define the future. There is more at stake than the belt around the waist of the man from Flint.
Four years after winning the National Championship at SuperBrawl VI, Joe Bishop is looking to mark his second SuperBrawl by adding a second major championship, and fourth championship reign, to his list of accolades. The three time National Champion has been chasing the International Championship for a year and a half now. His first attempts to claim the belt were foiled by Trace Demon at the beginning of 2013, with one fairly comfortable victory for Trace Demon in a non-title match and a closer battle at Revolution in the United Kingdom. Determined to win the belt that would take him a step closer to where he wanted to be, Bishop joined forces with Trace Demon, Penny Shannon and Reverend Shadow at Battleground. The victory was supposed to earn Bishop another shot at Demon, but when the Champion vacated the title, Bishop found himself in the International Championship Tournament with eight other men, falling to Thunder in the first round.
Bishop had hoped he would be able to earn a shot at the World Championship by winning the Scars & Stripes battle royal, in fact some saw Bishop as the favourite after his hot streak going into Battleground and after standing tall above the rest of the WFWF locker room at the PPV. A mixed run into Scars & Stripes halted his momentum and despite eliminating 'The Random Hero' Yukio Blaze, Bishop fell short on the big stage.
Joe Bishop goes into SuperBrawl on a woeful run having just ended a run of five straight losses, and with just two wins in his last eight matches. There is no doubt that he has an awful lot to prove going into this clash with WFWF legend Yukio Blaze, in fact many are claiming that this match could be career defining for the young Englishman. Either Bishop recaptures the form that he showed in the run up to and at Battleground, finally captures the International Championship and proves he can keep up with soon to be WFWF Hall of Famer Yukio Blaze, or he fails and proves that he just isn't cut out for the WFWF. Needless to say the stakes are high for Bishop and as he has been calling Yukio Blaze a has-been for the last month, something tells us that the International Champion will be ready to give him one of the biggest tests of his young career.
And in typical Blaze fashion, we present a message directly from the champ himself:
"This is the night that everyone waits for. This is the night where you leave it all out in the right. You put up or you shut up. It doesnt matter if you win or lose, its all about what kinda moment you can create in your match.
Do you remember the Six Pack Battle Royal Challenge at Superbrawl III?
Do you remember the Meggalicious Championship Match at Superbrawl IV?
Do you remember the Ladder Match at Superbrawl V?
Do you remember the International Championship Match at Superbrawl VI?
Do you remember the International Championship Match at Superbrawl VII?
You will remember me throwing over four other superstars.
You will remember is the match when the Triple Threat Messiah was born.
You will remember that moment when I finally won a match to gain a WFWF World Heavyweight Championship opportunity.
You will remember when Thunder and myself put on a performance, closed out the show with a 5 Star Match that ended with a handshake and an end of an era.
You will remember myself helping Shawn Malaki out by giving my seal of approval.
This year will be no different.
I'm walking in as International Champion (Never walked in a Superbrawl Match as a Champion)
I'm walking into the match against a new guy that wants to end my legacy (Joe Bishop)
I'm walking into this match immortalized (Hall of Famer Class of 2014)
I'm gonna put on a performance that only the Random Hero can."
Weird.
This goin' be good though. Harsh words forthcoming, but it could be agreed upon. On one side of the ring we have the man who should have been. On the other, the man who never had a chance to be. This match presents both of these men that chance to BE THAT MAN they were supposed to be. A victory here in this immortal show will do what they have both wanted since day one: a legacy cemented.
Folie a Deux
Ultraviolent Playground Match
”Velocity GRRRRRRRRLLLLLLL” Penny Shannon vs. ”Commentator Extraordinaire; Poutine Enthusiast” Cameron Stone
In this match, we have a grizzled veteran who has tried for years to be the best he could and fell short trying for one last shot at glory against a girl just starting out, looking to make a name for herself.
Cameron Stone is the Benjamin Franklin of the WFWF. Yes, a Canadian export was just compared to one of the greatest Americans in history. Cameron Stone is a jack of all trades. A former in ring competitor, WFWF National Champion, color commentator and poutine connesour, Stone has done everything. But something many people fo not know about Stone is his hardcore past. In a time prior to the WFWF, Stone was something of a hardcore icon in the world of professional wrestling, and that was what attracted the higher ups in the WFWF to him when he was signed all of those years ago. He has shown glimpses of his hardcore style over the years, his bouts with authority when he broke into the arena a few years back, and his hellacious battle with Shawn Malakai a few months ago are things that will forever live in spamW lore. But there is one thing Stone has never been able to put onto his resume. Cameron Stone, one of the more colorful and storied characters to ever step into a WFWF ring, has never competed at SuperBrawl. And now the Calgary Kid has kicked the hornets nest with one of the most hardcore superstars to ever come to the WFWF. Hell, she has a match she created in that head of hers just for Stone. One problem: Stone is trying to put his hardcore life behind him.
Well now.
Penny Shannon has been a very, very naughty girl... And that's only inside the ring! We're not one to really delve into her personal life, but it's easy to imagine it just as chaotic as what's going on her in the WFWF. Since breaking into the roster last year, the Velocity Grrrl has started riots, crippled men and has generally done things on her own terms. No longer under the shadow of former WFWF Champion Scarlett Quinn, Penny is taking on the WFWF in her quest for world domination. But has the Velocity Grrrl bitten more than she could chew and met her match in Cameron Stone? Even with the odds stacked against her, Penny Shannon rises up to the challenge. Will 2014 be her year?
This match will be contested under Ultraviolent Playground rules. Sounds fun, until you see the blood spurting and dead bodies everywhere.
What? No dead bodies in the ring?
Well...not yet. Slayer gonna get himself some company in the Dead Zone after this.
Pandemonium Times Quatro!
TLC Match
WFWF Tag Team Championships
Slanted & Enchanted vs. Makavelli “Mak” Cross & ”Sick” Cam Nitta vs. ”The Golden Boy” Jayson Garrett & Chase Landon vs. Kyle Matthews & Mason “The Line” Dixon
Slanted & Enchanted? We're seriously doing Slanted & Enchanted? Why? When Slanted wasn't busy smarking out over Wayne McGurk and Reverend Shadow, he was getting his ass kicked on a regular basis by some of the WFWF's finest workers... He and his nerd-squad cheerleader girlfriend disappeared after what some considered to be a heinous assault at the hands of Scarlett Quinn... Anyway, their back now and they dress up as ninjas and are easily as annoying as they were, if not slightly even more. These two could actually become tag team champions. Think about that!
You know who does not want to hear about that though? Cross. No one believes it could get worse than blowing your shot at the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship those months back. After that, you literally go back to square one and pray it was just a fad of bad luck. Then Mak Cross gets eliminated in the International Championship tournament when some claimed he could have run roughshod the entire way, or at least a significant portion. No worries though, right? Everyone goes through dry spells and besides, he still has a shot of getting the one on one title shot he felt he kind of deserved by winning the Scars and Stripes Battle Royal...only to suddenly wake up in an ambulance being transported to the nearest medical facility because the last thing he remembers is him blowing bubbles in a small puddle of his own blood. Staples, a couple MRIs (he sneezed during the first one) and some convincing from his wife later, Mak takes medical leave to patch up his wounds left by Slanted and Enchanted. Mak then had an epiphany; revenge is the best match to light a fire under an ass. So in the interim, he patched things up with Cam, because he remains the only other roster member he can bring himself to occasionally like and since the WFWF Tag Team Championships are collecting dust, why not add some under-appreciated gold to his accomplishments, while also enacting incredibly violent revenge in the process? Mak may not verbally state he cares for the Tag Championships, but ultimately, more than anything else he wants a WFWF Championship. The Tag Team Championships would be a great starting point, especially since in another life, he's shown he's capable at being a good enough tag partner to win the championships. After all, he won the EWWF Tag Championships with his brother back when Travis knew his way around the ring. To do so with Cam, a guy he brought in the business, would prove he still has it, and isn't simply grasping at straws because it's the only thing he knows how. It is true validation, to say he has what it takes to win a WFWF title, it's even more impressive if he can do so in a tandem.
Cam Nitta was supposed to have something here, but he never did it. Hey, gotta get a rib in there somewhere, right? HAHA. Asian. Nah, guy is really good. Been on a cold streak as of late, but him and Mak are looking to claim what they believe is theres.
But there will be others trying to take those titles. One of the men is Mason Dixon. Dixon was one of the first participants added to the WFWF Tag Team Championship, but his partners have changed dramatically since the initial announcement by Lila Sleater. Originally, it was supposed to be the odd couple of Mason Dixon and Andrew Carter fighting for tag team gold, but Andrew Carter took out his frustrations on Dixon post match a few weeks ago, leading him to be indefinitely suspended from the WFWF. But Dixon was not deterred, as the man who helped him in disposing of Carter now working with him as his tag team partner. Dixon wants this. So does his partner.
Two weeks ago, Kyle Matthews made his debut and defeated Ryu Hayashi and Hendrix in a three-way bout. That same night, he found himself in a difficult situation when he saved Mason Dixon from Andrew Carter. In just one week, Matthews now finds himself teaming up with the reluctant Mason Dixon in a Four-Way Tag Team match to decide who will become the WFWF Tag Team Champions. Kyle Matthews has to face a challenge and get over his trust issues so he can coexist with Dixon. Kyle Matthews thinks that winning the titles will only bring him that much closer to reaching his ultimate goal which is capturing the WFWF World Championship. Can Kyle Matthews not only claim another victim, but claim his first ever championship in WFWF at Superbrawl?
And for the last team, what would winning the tag team belts mean to Jayson Garrett? It would make a statement. This would prove to every single person that doubts him, everyone in that match, even his own partner, that he's not just here to stay, he's here to be a total success. The long awaited Superbrawl debut of Jayson Garrett is upon us, and he is planning on kicking off the start of his career at the biggest pay per view of the year with a title victory.
And the final participant, Garrett’s partner Chase Landon. Chase Landon has won matches but has never won them himself. The only matches he has won were tag matches in which his partner scored the victory. At SuperBrawl, Chase will finally get his own victory. He won't be doing this to be a good partner but to finally have a win of his own. His partner could be anyone. It doesn't matter. He will win the match for himself and prove he has what it takes to make it in WFWF. The first step in making it will be to unhook the titles and stand victorious over the bodies of his opponents.
It has been almost two years since the WFWF Tag Team Championships have been defended. So which team gets to join the ranks of Los Hobos, The Axis and The New Epoch, all WFWF Hall of Fame teams? Which team gets to join the likes of the legends? This is going to be amazing.
Identity Crisis
Mask vs. Mask
ZMaster vs. ”The Man of 2014” Dex
Boy to we have a dark horse match here with some HUGE implications.
Since his return to the WFWF, ZMaster has had his worst run not being able to win a single match. He finally admitted to himself that he no longer has the ability to keep up with the talent and that it was time to just retire for good. He is squaring off with Dex at Super Brawl, which is an event he has never won in. The loser has to be unmasked and for ZMaster, it’s about ending his career on a positive note. Dex’s mask is not relevant to him as he is more concerned with winning his final match ever. Not only to win at the biggest event of the year but also his last run end going out on top.
Dex is demented, sick and twisted. Hes always alone contemplating the world around him. The WFWF is incredibly important to him, in fact its his only true form of joyous entertainment. SuperBrawl is marked, and hes heavily anticipating his match with "ZMaster." ZMaster has been his obstacle, his drive, since he has heard of the name. To hear that another "monster" exists was preposterous to Dex. The idea simply blew his mind beyond human conception. He himself wanted to be the only one deemed such a reputation. Though with that being said, Dex has been trying to change his ways, and possibly change ZMaster as well. as well. He sees himself as some sort of glorious prophet of some sort. Though his arrogance may just be his downfall. SuperBrawl is the grandest stage Dex will ever find himself. He himself does not quite understand the legacy that ZMaster has left on the company, and the many sold-out arenas he has competed in. Or even the legacy of such an event. Still, Dex does not care about anyone who dare stand in his way. He will defeat anyone and take-down anything for his own personal gain. Dex finds himself nearing the top of the spectrum and will do anything to get closer to it. Even slaying the beast known as "ZMaster."
ZMaster has one match left in the WFWF, and he has the mega upstart in Dex. Will the career of ZMaster end by, after all of these years, being forced to unmask? Or will Dex have to finally show his true identity to the WFWF, and start fresh as a stranger to the fans?
THE MATCH (over) A YEAR IN THE MAKING!
Singles Action
”The Creator of Hell” Devilkiller vs. “Decaying” Tommy Staxx
When we heard about this match getting made for SuperBrawl, we were expecting some kind of no holds barred, exciting barbed wire rope Monsters Ball of Death match. Instead, we are getting ourselves a pure wrestling rules match between two of the most violent people in WFWF history.
Tommy Staxx earned his fame a few years ago, taking on some of the best names in the WFWF, coming up short every single time. Hell, his first match ever was a WFWF Championship match. But something snapped inside of that head of Tommy Staxx at Battleground. After his loss to Shawn Malakai in the Monsters Ball, he joined up with then WFWF Champion Phillip Schneider and his merry band of misfits, the Decaying Society. See where the nickname came from? Well when Schneider up and disappeared after his loss at Battleground, Staxx was left in a state of disarray, the entire WFWF roster had it in for anyone associated with the Prophet of Ash, making that stint of Staxx’s very short lived. But now he is back, and he is ready to do battle with a man whose talent is becoming somewhat of a legend here in the WFWF.
And a letter penned by said legend:
“People want, or say they want a look into the mind, the character, the persona of Devilkiller. What is Devilkiller? Is Devilkiller some sort of name he gave himself? Is it some type of nickname? Is it something like "One Eye Bob"? What's the meaning of Devilkiller?
Devilkiller is simply the meaning of destroying your personal demons as well as your not so personal ones. In and out of the world of WFWF (And Wfigs, for that matter) Devilkiller is used by me everyday. When the troubles of life get to you, you may need that boost of confidence or of knowing satisfaction that you are great. Whether your brother is viciously murdered in the WFWF world or you watch helplessly as you are ripped out of your home from your little brother for months on end, you may need that extra boost.
The Road To SuperBrawl. What the hell can I say? I returned after Scars and Stripes and have tried to stay on a roll since. Of course, troubles in life got to me and I couldn't do certain things with internet interaction, but I have tried to stay consistent.
When I left mid July I believe it was, I had some trouble in my personal life that kept me from doing things. I burned bridges, and I wish I didn't, and I let down a bunch of guys here, and I was lucky enough to get a second chance.
This Road to SuperBrawl has been fun all together, trying to improve both the character and persona of Devilkiller to a perfection. Hell maybe my name will be in the Main Event Championship match, though it looks dim, I'll keep having hope.
I beat Davey Sanchez, Dex, and lost to quite possibly the biggest and best guys in the company in the last three matches, and I'm proud of the wins as well as the loss. I'm going into SuperBrawl (not to quote Miley Cyrus) like a wrecking ball, and I do not plan to destroy everything, but to further build my legacy.”
This match could be a show stealer. A battle of two men who could be the WFWF Champion by this time next cycle. Get geeked.

David Brennan vs. ”The Franchise” Josh Dean
Honestly, this match came together so quick, ain’t no one saw this sh*t coming. We did not even get the full rundown everyone else gave.
This past Revolution saw the return of former New Epoch member David Brennan, who made his presence felt with the exact brand of vitriolic venom that he and his cohorts had once been so well known for, much of it aimed at WFWF owner Trace Demon and his "vision" of the company. Given Brennan's perspective on the current crop of talent in the WFWF, extensive talks (and just a pinch of the ol' Demon charm) with WFWF general manager Lila Sleater have led to the executive decision that it would be in the best interests of the business for David Brennan to get what's coming to him - in the form of former International Champion and textbook athletic specimen "The Franchise" Josh Dean, who returns to Superbrawl on the heels of a two year hiatus from wrestling, but a seven year absence from WFWF. Two names synonymous with the WFWF return to kick off Superbrawl in what's sure to be no slouch of an opening bout - does anyone really lose?
