MINNESOTA: Official Findings

Some new-to-me sightings at Shakopee Walmart. Hogan, Piper, and Vader Superstars out. Some Elite 103 and 104 (no Bron or Rick Steiner) amongst a bevy of Top Picks, RVD and Brock Ultimates. Nothing new on the AEW front aside from the exclusive Eddie Kingston.

Been awhile since there was any activity in Minnesota findings! Came across the LJN-esque CM Punk and Hook figures at Burnsville Target today which was the first time seeing them in the wild. If anyone spies a Legends '91 Rumble Ultimate Warrior anywhere, please let me know!

Lakeville Target had the brand new Legends series and Ultimate Edition Ultimate Warrior on the shelves this afternoon.

I rarely go figure hunting anymore as retail has gotten so bad. I rarely ever find anything I want at retail these days. Not sure if scalpers are in my area or if im just very unlucky. I had to pick something up at walmart on my lunch break yesterday and went into the maple grove one and found a brody king! Was super pumped about that. I wanted buddy matthews too, asked the store managers walking around but they checked and didn't have anymore in back :/

Haven't saw one of these horrid repacks in over 10 years...the entire back card was ripped open and almost falling off. I can't believe someone takes the time to go home and repack random custom figures to return them to walmart. But I also can't believe walmart even accepts these back...If the package is severely damaged and basically open I would think that is not returnable. But even if walmart was gonna accept it as a return why would they even put this back on the shelf? Toss it out as damaged product or return to manufacture as defect.

That's a pretty rare jakks stevie richards head though lol too bad I didn't need it. I wouldn't pay $20 for this crap though.

Also adding that the target in maple grove doesn't even have a WWE figure section anymore! I only saw 2 wrestling figures there on clearance. Never saw a walmart/target that empty of wrestling figures, they only had 2 pegs for them as well!

Stopped by Lakeville Target yesterday (05/13) and Eden Prairie Walmart today (05/14) and came across some new stuff. Been keeping an eye out for the WM5 chase Ultimate Warrior Basic, anyone spy one anywhere?

I don't really feel like driving way down there to pick up the walmart bucks as im sure they'll clog everywhere eventually, every walmart north doesn't have them out yet :/

Yesterday went hunting for bucks, first walmart nothing. I asked a lady if she could check in back since none were on the floor, she was clueless and brought me to figure isle that I already checked. Left and tried one more 15 mins down the road, they had 4 nicks, picked up one. Snoop dogg was stocking stuff near toys, had multiple silver rings and a thumbnail 2 inches long, probably for snorting coke, who knows. I asked him politely if he could check if any Matt's were in back (which I regret) dude was completely miserable with his life and I was obviously offending him asking to take 2 mins out of his day to help a customer find something. Not like he was in a rush to stock anything...same thing he pointed me to isle I was just down. I told him I already looked. Guy was a f'n douche bag.

Big shout out to icansleep for the eden prairie pic, I ended up driving to that walmart on my lunch break to get matt to complete the set.

Legends and Elites at Savage Target today (05/21) including a chase Ichiban Hogan. Haven't seen any new AEW figures (save for PPV Danielson) in months here.

Never go to the maple grove target to figure hunt, they have stopped stocking wrestling figures. I wouldn't recommend brooklyn park either, they never restock and have like 3 on the shelves.

Target in Plymouth had a full case of legends 23, new elites, the AEW 2 pack and target britt baker. I've had great luck with this store in the past as well, they always seem to get the new stuff first.

Tried uploading these shots yesterday (10/25) but Tapatalk wasn't having it.

Had Friday off thinking I'd be up late Thursday night celebrating a Vikes win (😖) but...

Anyway, I was up bright and early and thought "I should do a pandemic-era fig hunt today." I kept it to just the south metro and was looking for two items specifically, the Retro Ring and the Sandman Elite. I started at my home base (Savage Target) which I knew had nothing, swung over to Savage Marshalls and found the retro ring! Hoping it was a sign I wouldn't be spending the morning driving aimlessly store-to-store, I checked Burnsville Target who had a Jamie Hayter figure I hadn't seen but no Sandman. I continued down County Road 42 and stopped at Apple Valley Walmart, (where I hadn't been in a long time) and was surprised at their AEW offerings (including a chase Ethan Page) and not as surprised with the peg full of Ember Moon's. The Apple Valley Target's (Cedar Ave. and PKRD) didn't offer much, save for a Vader Ultimate. I cut up the JCRR and checked out the Target on Cliff Rd., who continued the disappointing Bullseye showings, and drove down to the Burnsville Walmart who had a Monday Night Wars RVD figure I was tempted to get but thought better of. Last stop in my travels was the Lakeville Target which was a bust, I saw every figure in the Sandman set yesterday EXCEPT the Sandman.

Fun morning, found at least one thing I set out for, might try again for Sandy this weekend!

I've totally givin up on figure hunting in minnesota. No store really ever has what im looking for wasting my time and gas. I think i'll retire figure hunting in person and stick to online.
