Hey Guys, As a lot of you know, I make custom WWE belts. Usually out of Leather, or plain Pictures and felt. I started toying around with the idea a while back of making custom Side Plates for the Official Mattel WWE Championship Belt. Who knows if they will ever come out with official ones, right? Anyhoo, I just wanted to share these with you guys and get some opinions on them. So far I have only done the John Cena side plates, but have RKO, Daniel Bryan, and Rock printed and ready to go - just gotta get the process as simple as I can. The center 'Medallions' are the custom work being done. They are pretty much just stickers that are placed over the medallion on the belt itself. As you can see in a few of the pictures though, they are reflective. This is because I added a yellow/gold layer on top that gives it a 'shine' vs being just a generic print out. So are you going to be making the decals to sell in the future? I eventually plan to, as soon as I can figure out how to make them super easy to use. At the moment, they are kind of hard to separate the sticker backing without having some trouble. Gotta go in with thin fingernails or a razor, haha! I accidentally ripped the Vinyl off a few of them. On the plus side, I've learned that the Vinyl pretty much stays in place pretty well on the design portion, and you can remove them from the belt without damaging it (the belt, the sticker may be spent after removal). |

So are you going to be making the decals to sell in the future? Regarding selling them - would you guys prefer something like "Daniel Bryan side plates for $5" (4, enough for 2 belts) or "Set of Side Plates for $10" (8, for 4 belts...Rock, Daniel Bryan, Cena, Orton) ...I think I got the process down, by cutting each one out individually, and putting them on Wax Paper. Makes them easy to remove for the customer, like a regular sticker.  |

How about you sell the Belts with the SuperStar plates attached. I'd say $15 per custom Belt. That's $60 right there for the 4 Belts. Make them made to order, that way you don't get stuck with overstock. You could even take it a step further and make stickers for Stars who didn't hold the Big W, like Chris Jericho, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan...for example.

That's why it would be made to order. You would only buy a Belt if someone ordered one, not beforehand. Plus, you could probably buy them loose on EBay.
