Chapters will probably be every month or a bit after, hoping for a mid-late January release for Wrestling Will Never Die based on when I get everything sorted out, and the rest of the shows depend on how much time I have to give it, but yeah I'm hoping for a monthly or so schedule.

What's up guys! It's been a minute! I hope you guys are all doing good. It's tough time out there for everyone. And everyone is pulling through. I been having it really tough lately.

I was Correction Officer at my county jail; and got into dispute with the administration. They covered up misconduct during inmate suicide; misconduct and abuse of authority with officers. And I had some other long standing issues; and they blocked me from promoting in rank. They knew I was looking into other departments; I resigned due to the ongoing dispute. I been in limbo deciding to work with my State Pen or a local police department. I am disgusted with the misconduct and people I have worked with in Law Enforcement not getting overly political here. But; it can be discouraging if you wanna do good and be the best Officer you can be. Among some other family and close friends deaths; and other headaches. It's been a tough year. Mainly from September onwards. But; I am hanging through it. And things could be a lot worse; and I am thankful for what I have. No matter what my destiny beholds as anxious as that gets me.

Anyways; my scale ring broke! So; I am working on getting new one and overhauling my arena. To keep my mind off the gloomy things; if anyone wants to chat about Pic Feds or wants me to check out there's shoot me PM. I got nothing better to do for little while.

It’s been a while, between 2013-2016 I experimented with a few different formats of picfed. I tried using Build N Brawl figures, Mirco Aggression, Mattel WWE and had plans for one using the WWE Stackdown lego like figures. My most successful in every way was definitely the Micro fed that sadly only lasted 3 shows before I moved house and no longer had the space. My last attempted fed would have been the Stackdown one, but sadly I lost interest in collecting altogether at the time shortly after I’d set up the website.

Since I’ve been out of the game, I’ve noticed feds these days have transitioned to YouTube/videos rather than the old pictures and text of my day. I’m curious about the reasons for this change?
This board also seems a lot less active than I remember, have the feds moved somewhere else?

I’m thinking of starting up a picfed again and have a couple of ideas. What’s the general opinion these days on using real life IP for your fed (ie relaunching ECW for example), back in the day it was frowned upon.

One of my ideas is sort of an alternate universe where ECW is relaunched by Joey Styles after buying the IP and rights from WWE. This fed would use Deluxe Aggression figures for the wrestlers with some Ruthless Aggression figures in non-wrestling roles (ie Joey styles as the authority figure, referees and commentators). The reason I want to use ECW rather than my own creation is because I’ve recently acquired one of the 1/500 championship belts which I’d like to use as my main title, plus I have a ring setup with a ECW ringskirt. I don’t have any others that don’t have WWE logos all over them and don’t particularly have the time, money or resources to make/buy custom ones.

My other idea is a Stackdown fed. I personally don’t use string or anything like that as I don’t have the right setup to be able to take advantage of it, nor do I have the software to “photoshop” it out of pictures. Therefore the nature of the Stackdown figures sort of helps with some posing, but the figures are quite limited in articulation (in saying that, I managed to make a Micro Aggression fed work)

I think the overall popularity of pic fedding has shifted into the youtube/instagram scene. It's much more easier for people to make one. The place is a little quiet. That's to be expected, some things get in the way of personal hobbies. I really like the ECW idea, I would do that one if I was you. It sounds really unique and Interesting.

This isn’t strictly picfed related but I’m not sure where the best place to post it is, so I thought I’m most likely to get the results I require in here, so sorry in advance.

I’ve just started doing a WWE 2002-2010 era with my Mattel figures, and as part of that, I’ve been tracking down the old Jakks 1/500 diecast metal championship belts (WWE, ECW and World Heavyweight).
The main storyline going on at the moment revolves around the WWE Championship, but as I’m not happy with the 1/500 belt due to it being the oversized Big Show mold, I’ve decided I don’t want to use it, which has caused ‘writers block’ for how to resolve the storyline.

What’s happened so far.
On Smackdown, an 8-man Gold Rush tournament took place to crown the new WWE champion. The four Round 1 matches take place. On the following Smackdown, the semifinals and finals take place. Kurt Angle wins the tournament, however when he is to be presented with the belt, general manager Shane McMahon comes out to announce the championship has been stolen (this was a plot to cover the fact I didn’t physically have the belt yet, it was in the mail. Additionally Shane and Kurt kinda have a bit of beef due to the round 1 match vs Brock Lesnar, where Shane interfered on behalf of Brock, while Shelton Benjamin evened the odds on behalf of Kurt). The assumption from the ‘audience’ being that due to their beef, this was just Shane messing with Kurt and abusing his power as GM.

What the planned ending was.
JBL becomes number one contender. During the title match, just as JBL is about to win, Shane comes out and claims JBL stole the belt and shows security footage. Kurt Angle capitalises on the distraction and wins the match, retaining the championship and finally is presented with the WWE championship. There was then a plan to introduce the World Heavyweight Championship (Triple H becoming first champion) and the ECW Championship (a feud between Shelton Benjamin and Shane McMahon would have revolved around this title).

Due to the issues with the 1/500 belt, I no longer wish to use it, and as such I don’t know how to resolve the storyline. Due to my other plans, I don’t want to just replace the WWE championship with the World Heavyweight instead.
Any ideas to resolve this storyline?

How about some sort of invasion storyline? Where Shane changes the future of WWE? Perhaps for some radical reason he renames it ECW? So in some way you can replace the WWE title with the ECW one?

The ECW Championship was going to be introduced as my midcard title (I’m only using the Jakks 1/500 belts so there’s only the WWE, World Heavyweight and ECW championships. I have ordered a Mark Henry that comes with one of the Mattel ‘first in line’ 1/1000 belts, so when that arrives I can access that belt, depending upon if I like it, I was thinking of ordering a second and making them Tag Team championships). The ECW invasion thing is something I could still work in as the introduction of the ECW championship, but I really don’t want to replace the WWE title with it. Why couldn’t Jakks just make the regular undisputed mold as the 1/500s lol

We shall see. I’ll need to buy a new set of Mattel 1/1000s for the belts, the one I received was a Mark Henry and unfortunately it only has the minimum amount of Velcro so it’ll fit him but no one else (to be fair, the belts are numbered and named specifically for that wrestler, but I didn’t think about that).

as for the WWE championship storyline, for the time being I’m just going to carry on with a Kurt Angle/Brock Lesnar feud (Shelton Benjamin/Shane McMahon splitting off into its own feud for the midcard ECW championship) with the title being ‘missing’ until I can figure something out.

plans for the World Heavyweight Championship however, a 10-man over the top rope battle Royal (I don’t have many figures of wrestlers that fit my chosen era at the moment, about 20 I think - Chris Jericho is ‘injured’ until I can replace my broken one, and Randy Orton got ‘suspended’ until I get E78 as I don’t like the E49 one I have). Triple H starts as first entrant. Kofi Kingston was to be the final entrant but is found ‘unable to compete’ Triple H thinks he’s won, only for Mark Henry to come out as Kofis replacement and wins, setting up a feud between them. Eventually it’ll be revealed that Henry took out Kofi so he could take his spot in the battle Royal.


as for the ECW revival idea. I’ve got a few more DA figures coming in bringing my ‘roster’ up to 9 so far, plus Joey Styles. When I’ve got about 10-15 figures I’ll look into it, though I’d like to have a referee and some commentators too (although they aren’t that important as I could just remove the announcers table area)
