I got to meet the Hardcore Legend himself, Mick Foley! He had a meet and greet earlier tonight after his North West Comedy Fest show. Jason Sensation was also a part of the show and did insanely good impersonations of Stone Cold and DDP. Got a couple things signed by him including a copy of his book Have a Nice Day which isn't pictured. View AttachmentView Attachmenthow's Jason looking? i know him personally but havent seen him in a couple of years.. he was very very sick 2-4 years ago.. He was a little thinner than I remember him being, but he had tons of energy and was amazing to watch. To be honest, I didn't actually recognize him until Mick mentioned that it was him.

Just got back from the indy show that I mentioned a few days ago. The show isn't over yet.. I just got my autographs and left. I was really surprised they were signing autographs before the show, rather than during intermission. I'll post pics and talk about what happened later tonight.

So here's my story from earlier tonight when I met Paul London. Not sure if any of you guys remember, but back in the summer, the same company, Squared Circle Live, had Matt Morgan as a guest. I emailed SCL and the person who responded, told me that autographs on personal items would be free. When I went and met Matt, this was not the case as he was charging $15, even on personal items. After that, I emailed the guy back saying that autographs on personal items were not free and told the guy that I was disappointed. He then told me that they normally are free and that he would give me two free tickets for a future show. I thought that that was a good enough compromise and accepted them for tonight's show. He told me that he would have them under my name. So tonight, my dad and I go. I tell the guy selling tickets that I have two free tickets under "Alex". The guy had no idea what I was talking about. He had a list of those who paid in advance and those who were allowed to be let in for free. My name was not on there. Seriously?! This guy that's been emailing me screwed me over twice?! I told the ticket guy that I emailed SCL and whoever responded told me that I would get two free tickets. He wrote down my name, and reluctantly let me in. When we walk in, there were tables set up. To my surprise, Taylor Wilde, Angelina Love and Paul London were there signing autographs. I was told that they were going to be signing autographs during intermission, but I'm not complaining as I just wanted my autographs and I didn't care for the wrestling. London was in between Wilde and Love. He saw my dad taking pictures and he was nice enough to post for one (shown above). I went to London first, as he was the reason that I went. I first got my encyclopedia signed to see if he was charging anything for personal items. He was not. However, he was charging $5 per signed 8 by 10s that he had. He asked if I wanted the autograph personalized and said yes and told him my name. He then signed on both of his sections in the book: Paul and I then take a picture together. I then thank him, left his table and put my book away. I realized that if he's signing personal items for free, I might as well get some more items signed by him. However, I first went to Taylor Wilde as other fans were meeting Paul London. She was charging $5. I honestly don't care about meeting Taylor Wilde, but I figured that I have a magazine with her in it, and she's right there, so I might as well get her autograph. She was nice and asked for my name, then signed my magazine: Taylor and I then pose for a picture. She wanted to make sure that the picture turned out well. My dad showed the picture to me. Taylor asked "How is it? Did I ruin it? We could take another one". I laughed and said "no, it's great. Thank you." Next, I get more items out of my bag for Paul and approach his table again. He asked me "Did I miss something, bud?" I responded, "Oh, no you didn't. I actually have a bunch of items for you. I'm a huge fan." He then told me, "Oh cool. No problem, man!" He then asked, "You're Alex, right?" I said yes and he signed my Smackdown Program. I told him that I have Tatanka's signature in the same program too, and he said "Oh really? Tatanka's cool!" Then he signs my trading cards. As he was doing so, I told him "You signing my items really made the hour drive worth it." He responded, "I really appreciate you saying that, thanks very much." After, I ask him if he has a silver maker. (I brought one anyways, just in case). He said, "yup, I should. For the belt right?" I said yes. He then goes through his bag and finds a silver marker. He signs the belt, and as he's doing so, he tells me "I really appreciate you bringing the leather!" That's pretty much it for autographs. After he signed them all, I thank him and he offers his hand out for a hand shake. He smiled and thanked me for coming. He also shook my dad's hand and thanked him too. Paul London was extremely friendly. I would compare him to Roddy Piper, who was also really friendly. Quite the opposite of Brutus Beefcake last weekend. Paul was sociable, talkative and was literally always smiling. It seemed like his face was stuck in a smiling expression lol. You could tell that he was happy to be there and was happy to meet his fans. I didn't bother meeting Angelina Love. I had already met her, so I didn't want to spend the money to get another signature of her's. I'm not a fan of her's anyways. On a side note.. no luck at Value Villages! I actually got that belt at a Value Village in Hamilton last week for $2. I normally don't like getting Toy Belts signed, but I figured that since he has held that belt the longest, I might as well bring it. Thanks for reading!

Once I got over the initial "holy crap its Mick Foley" adrenaline, I really got into the show and what he was saying. He's a humorous guy and I bet it was a lot of fun being around him on the road back in the day. By the way, did you see a large Mankind figure on the desk he was signing autographs at? I gave him a Jakks Ripped and Ruthless figure as a gift and I hope he didn't throw it out or sell it LOL.

Forgot to mention that I got my wwe magazine in the mail last week which included 2 posters. I also noticed that on the subscription insert in the magazine they indicate that monthly subscribers will now get posters each month. This is great news as for the last few years I lost out on some pretty cool posters.

Went to Toys R Us this weekend to look for a 6" Boba Fett.. been weeks searching for one and its just impossible to find. Walked in and they had about 40-50+ 6" Black Series figures! It was so awesome to see that many. And in about 50+ BS Figs. I couldnt even find a Boba. I gave up and went to the wrestling isle. NUTHIN. Went back to star Wars. looked behind the Greedo peg, and sure enough there was a lone Boba all the way at the back!! WOOO!! So here is the proof about how hard it is to find a Boba. For every 50 figs, there is 1 Boba. 1:50 ratio! brutal!! Wow am I happy or what. He looks amazing. And his pouches aren't even a problem, I can pose him however I feel. I am so happy, the hunt still is as fun as ever.

Awesome that you got Boba WMW, looks really good. I have a birthday in 11 (or 12, I was born on the 29th so it isn't a definite day this year) days so maybe that can be a little gift to me.

LOL! my bad for misunderstanding. I hope you can find one man, I bet your birthday is going to be awesome either way. The 1:50 ratio is true though, I mean I went to walmart before I went to that TRU and they have about 30 wave 2 6" figs and not 1 Boba. Pretty crazy! Man we should work on some star wars animations. I really like what you did with your tutorial. Would be great to see some 1-2 minute videos from you, like Luke fighting against some Sandtroopers and whatnot. Im going to be making quite a few, I just need to find the time. hockey has me preoccupied

I'm actually in the middle of shooting a duel between Luke and Darth Maul. The masked footage totals to 55 seconds, and I'm incorporating the footage into a video I'm presenting to Sheridan College on my birthday. Both videos should be around 2 minutes.
