Bik was always such a good friend. A fantastic tag partner and passionate animator. He really helped make this board special and fun.
I don't know if it's still a thing, but I think "Classic Duttanized" deserves to be inducted into the WF Animation Hall of Fame.

It feels abit lackluster in adding people in retrospect now that the board has moved on, just me updating an old post as opposed to the entire community coming together for Animania, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about adding him. To be honest I wish more people where in the HOF, so many people where appreciated and big parts of our community. I'd love to add them but I hate the idea of leaving people out, like I want them to remember this place and come back for some old memories and feel appreciated not an afterthought, but I don't see how we can list everyone.
I'm going to add Dutt, he deserves the tribute. I'd like some advice on how I should go about it. Just add him to the list like the others or should I include a message like "in memory of" or Rest in Peace? I dunno, he was as much your friends as he was mine, I want everyone to be happy.

Could always just restructure that page so the HOF is at the top to update it a bit, but I don't have any objections to just adding his name. The reason I'm leaning towards it being just his name, is because if we were all active on this board, he'd already be on that list considering what he's done for the community. Not sure what everyone else thinks on the subject.

His YouTube channel was named Anitribute, so you could incorporate that into the post name. You can have a write up of what he meant to the board; link events he hosted (Final Battle and one of the AniManias with Ross) or matches he had a major part of (aWo vs DX comes to mind). I believe the 3 examples I listed are in video form on WFigsAnimationTV, so you can always just link the YouTube videos instead.

If I'm being honest I hadn't thought about the board in so many years, like I pop in and check for rule breaks so it doesn't get deleted, but I never truly thought about this place in so long. Bik passing sucks but its made me remember the great times I had here. I hope to find some time to clean up and hopefully restore some of the history threads. Make the place presentable in the off chance someone new stumbles upon it. If we were to do a tribute to him not related to the Hall of Fame, a post detailing his contributions to the board at large could work. I can't promise anything, I'm happy to help in anyway but I've got responsibilities now adays so things might take time.

Rest in peace Dutt & best wishes goes out to all of his friends and family. We never spoke, but there was always something to say when he was involved no matter what went on.
I enjoyed being here back in the day with my heart and soul, with every fiber of my being. Wow did you guys create a spark that will always stay with me.
Also, hope Dimburuk is safe during this entire ordeal. Times have certainly changed so I hope everyone is doing well.

I wasn't a friend of Dutt's back in the day. We barely ever talked. But I always had a mutual respect for him and what he contributed to the board. One day on his YouTube channel he did a top ten figure animation matches of all time and he put my Christian/Edge Wrestlemania match on the list amongst other people like Stevo and Audie. Considering how many animation matches have been uploaded by many different people that really made me happy and was always appreciative of that. Its a sad moment for sure and hope he can rest peacefully.
In relation to [The Ukrainian One] Dimburuk, hope he is pulling through in troubling times. Putin is a dick.

Just hearing about Dutt, its a damn shame. If he was any age around the rest of us, far too young to go. It's been a long time and I don't recall all of our interactions as well as I wish I could, but his name was one that you'd always see around and, like the rest of you all here, was someone who contributed to making and being a part of a great community. Rest in peace, man.

Very sad to read the news about Duttanized. I don't think we ever interacted, but I remember him being "the entertainer" of the board. May he rest in peace. Life is definitely a weird thing. Growing up I imagined performing at Wrestlemania, being a part of the crowd at least, but definitely not watching the show with air raid sirens blasting outside, lol. I'm in one of the regions that's to the west of Kyiv, mostly safe, meaning no enemy troops (for now, and hopefully forever), but sadly missiles still hit here, just like any other city in the country. My region's also bordering Belarus and things are escalating once again ("exercises" on the border, and schizo propaganda on their TV), so if you ever see news that Belarus joined the war then I am most likely in deep crap. You can get a lot of "overview" info from the news, where people are just numbers and cities are just strategic territories, so here's some experiences on a personal level. Once again, this is from one of the safest regions in the whole country, I am very lucky compared to millions of my countrymen: 1. Waking up from a missile exploding in your city is not fun whatsoever. It is so loud that when you hear it once you will never confuse any other loud sound with a real missile explosion... 2. ..except for thunderstorms. For some reason they are very very similar to a missile explosion. Even if you know it's coming, me and a lot of other people (it was a topic in our local group chats) react to the sound of thunder basically involuntarily. 3. I sleep in the corridor of my apartment, far away from windows, following the "rule of 2 walls": if an explosion happens, the first (facade) wall of the building will take the biggest hit, the second (inside the apartment) should take a smaller hit and save you from windows breaking and other debris, etc. This probably won't help if the missile flies directly into my building lol but you never know. 4. The sound of sirens + psychological stress is a combo that created a "phantom siren syndrome" for a very large % of the population. Basically, you hear the siren when it's not on, your mind creates the sound inside your head. Not the worst thing but definitely annoying. 5. A fighter jet is very loud. I would describe it as "majestic", but only because it was our own. If it was the enemy's, I would crap my pants. Only heard it once. 6. Heard our soldiers trying to shoot down an enemy surveillance drone with automatic rifles right next to my building. Didn't see it since the moment I heard it I instantly ran into the corridor lol, no time to look through the window. Gun shots are also a very distinct sound that's hard to confuse with anything else really, at least in my experience. 7. "Fog of war" is very much real, even as a civilian, especially in the first days: you know there's fighting going on, you don't know where. All the small cities, the big cities, are the troops close, are they on the border, is my region next, refreshing news 24/7 trying to separate fake stuff from real information. Horrible for the psych I reckon. 8. People are very united here, donating, sacrificing a lot for our soldiers, also I know you all have your own internal politics and people like Biden and Boris are super controversial figures but those two are damn near saints in the eyes of our people lol, their support as leaders has been massive. 9. On a smaller scale, there's also WWE promoting humanitarian aid stuff for Ukraine, or Sebastian Vettel rocking the helmet in support of Ukraine and taking a hard stance before the rest of Formula 1 did, that may look "PR" or "useless hype" from the outside, those things mean a lot to me and other people in the wrestling or F1 communities in Ukraine, no matter how small those communities are compared to the rest of the world, it's still thousands of people. There's pacifists all over the world saying stuff like "oh we're all citizens of the world, patriotism is bad, all governments are bad" etc., but at this point the government or the country don't matter, it's enemies coming to kill your community, people you know and love, coming to drop bombs on someone's school, on someone's favorite park, cinema, whatever, any place that someone has great memories of, that feels like home. Men aren't allowed to leave the country, so if things get worse than they are now on the battlefield there's a real possibility me and a lot of other men will be sent to the front lines with like 5 days of "training" lol, at that point I'm not even sure if I would try to dodge somehow or my rage for this scum that came to take my land and kill my people would prevail. With that said, if you still love wrestling go enjoy a local live show, I never got the chance to and can only hope I'll get the opportunity to do so later. Creative/entertaining things mean a lot to me, after leaving the forum I managed to create some relatively successful creative projects that bring me total peace of mind, knowing I created something people enjoyed, and it all started here on this forum with wrestling stop motion I'll try to update you if something super major happens, if I don't post an update in like 3 years you can assume I'm dead xd. But for now, stay positive everyone, enjoy what you can, and TRUST YOUR MIND TO ADAPT!! It's insane how your mind adapts to basically any circumstances. Use that to your advantage! Love you all
