I went for £50m.
I think he's nowhere near Ronaldo's value. Probably worth around what Real paid for Kaka (although it hasn't really worked out for Kaka there)

He was amazing last season, his burst of pace is nothing short of phenomenal and id have to say the guy must be worth around £70-80 million. His goals were world class, i honestly think hes up there with Ronnie.

£60m I'd probably say. He's not better than Ronaldo or Messi, but was breathtaking at times last year. Hopefully he stays, we get another brilliant season, then double the price. ;D

How much is Fernando Torres worth? If Villa is 5 million, Torres can't be more than 3 or 4.

The more I think about it, £50m for Torres was ridiculous.

I hope he s off to the Dubai leagues or some pish and never heard of again. Seriously, copyrighting a stupid ing celebration that's been done for years before he was well known? He's absolutely full of himself, believes his own hype and will end up falling flat on his face under the pressure. And not to mention the ing state of this: Gad!

Oh dear, you're as bad as the papers. There was a whole spread on pictures that showed them in simila scenarios and claimed he was turning into Ronaldo. If it was a fat guy dresse the same would he be trying to be Ronaldo?

If he was standing over a ball about to take a free kick in the Ronaldo stance with slick back hair, yes, he would be trying to be Ronaldo.

£94,000,000 is an absolute joke, I don't even know what Real Madrid are thinking. Fair enough he's in the form of his life, but he's had half a good Season and a couple of good Games against Inter Milan. He's worth around £50,000,000 give or take the usual increased transfer fees so I was expecting him to go for £60,000,000. Cristiano Ronaldo went for £80,000,000. This was a Player who was the finished and complete article. He'd already won FIFA World Player of the Years, scored in Champions League Finals, won Premier League Titles, he'd outgrown the biggest Club in England and needed to get to Madrid. It makes no sense as to why Bale is worth £14,000,000 more than that? The pressure will be a hell of a lot for him too.
Spurs shouldn't be too confident about getting that much for him though. Yes it's a ridiculous sum of money, but it has its disadvantages. Every Club knows they have that money available to them. If they want to strengthen their Squad and bring in for example, a good £15,000,000 Player, they'll end up being forced to pay around £30,000,000 purely because the Club selling knows Spurs have it at their disposal.

I think that explains why we're being clever and holding back completing the deal until we've signed replacements. With AVB and everyone maintaining that no deal is done, clubs aren't holding us for ransom as much. Levy isn't thy daft, Dan. Plus Madrid could pay £100m for him and they'll get it back easily. Merchandise, image rights, sponsorship, etc. Bale is hot property right now all over the world. A massive billboard poster of him in Times Square is proof of that.

Looks like Bale is worth £95 million as to what I've heard today, Madrid will have to get Adidas in to pay wages too given the debt RMA are in.

Real Madrid setting the bar high in terms of transfer fees. Will be hard for any club to get the likes of di Maria, Benzema etc off them cheap now they're valuing players at that sort of money.
