Don't feed these bootleg bungholes your money! That Trunks head has never been made before by Tamashii/Bandi. These guys have flooded eBay with many bootlegs possing as the real deal. I've been hot with one, it's not cool. Of you want a Trunks like that, support the line through Tamashii's licensed retail stores and beg the. For it on their social media accounts. While what they are technically doing is violating copyright, the figures are "out of print" and sold out, the company that makes them (Bandai/Tamashii Nations) no longer earns any money from them anyway. After all, they sold all of the ones they have, if they are truly out of print/out of stock. So these bootleg pieces and figures are actually only affecting ebay scalpers and other resellers directly. To be technical, the Jacksdo Trunks hair is "unlicensed" while the face, the crossed arms, and entire SS Vegeta are bootlegs. So... in theory, they could legally sell the hair only, but if they use the Dragonball Z trademark, they'd have to be licensed/created with permission from Toei, Funimation, and Akira Toriyama. They're not doing anything wrong besides giving the fans more figures for their DBZ Figuarts collection. So what you're saying is that these figures are real figures from the original companies, but they are under a different name?

The people made the bootleg Vegeta's for those who didn't have enough money to buy the real original one that raised up in price to $150-$200. You buying one would do no harm to the company itself as they are already sold out and are done producing SS Vegeta's. The SS Trunks head is a bootleg as well, only thing is Bandai never released that Trunks head ever, so it's more of a custom than a bootleg. Now the SS3 Goku head is also a bootleg as well, but again you buying one would do no harm to Bandai as they sold out of SS3 Goku's and are done producing the figure.

If some are loose, how would I know if I am buying a bootleg or if I am buying a real one, because they all look so similar. *I borrowed this from another site* The authentic vegeta is on the left. As you can see his face has more pink shading compared to the full orange of the bootleg. His hair has white tips along with some orange while the bootleg has a mustard yellow with barely no shading. The chest armor has a darker brown on the bootleg. The extremely white to tips on the bootleg with a really dark blue shade on the boot. The blue jumpsuit on the bootleg also has more shading. its more similar to the saiyan saga vegeta then the super saiyan version. AND one REALLY IMPORTANT thing that all bootlegs have that the original doesnt and that is A WHITE NECK PEG. If you bought a vegeta with a WHITE NECK PEG you def got a fake, that is for those who still cant tell the difference. Also notice the bootleg has red on his lips while the original's is skin color. You can also notice bigger pupils as well. The strap on the bootleg is slightly out of place but can be put back and glued . Also loose left hand on mine but can maintain pose. Another way you can tell the fake from the legit one is that the fake Vegeta has a line crack on the side of his armor while the legit one doesn't. Plus the legit ones have a stamp on the bottom of the foot while the fake ones don't.

You'll know by looking at joints, paint work, quality in the plastic, and accessories. Bootlegs have swivels instead of ballpoints and double joints. Make sure to ask for a lot of pictures when buying. Even off eBay. If they don't come with a box, odds are, they are bootleg.

I've been wanting to buy these for ages now but I just now placed an order on my first. The Android saga was my favorite so I ordered Android 18

I bought my first DBZ yesterday at a small local toy/comic show. I picked up Klilyn (along with a Super Mario). The only other SHFiguarts I own is the Wolf Predator. Now I want moar.

The sdcc vegeta, how much should I pay? I don't collect these but I'd like to start It was $48 at SDCC, so I would say wait until you see a $60 - 65 price for it. Toyz in the Box is selling him for $75 and if you live in the states, it should be a flat rate.

Never got into the DBZ lines. The Figuarts line is THE line to get into. I honestly never thought I would be buying DBZ figures ever again after the 90's. But damn are these things awesome. The nice thing for those late to the line, is Tamashii/Bluefin/Bandi will rerelease them through out the years.

Never got into the DBZ lines. I really only ever had a mild familiarity with the show and the characters. I knew a handful of them, but most of them I just recognized as "this guy from DBZ" and that was it. That aside, this line is EASILY one of the best figure lines going right now. I've only got Scouter Vegeta, my roommate has Goku, SS Goku, and Frieza. All the figures are great, even for someone like me who isn't too clued up on the storyline of the show.
