I wish we could have got a McGregor figure sucks it's too late now Is there much market for maybe a custom McGregor? Guy's one of the biggest fighters in the world right now, gotta assume you could find a decent quality custom of some articulation form for that reason alone I'd think.

Too bad we never got an Anderson Silva figure minus the Vitor Belfort "Light Heavyweight" torso.

I hated the fact they gave Nate Marquardt the same torso as Jon Fitch.

Sadly, I doubt UFC will get figures again. Mattel would never drop their best selling action figure line of WWE for UFC. But they would make amazing UFC figures.

I think WWE would want exclusive action-figure rights, so Mattel probably wouldn't be able to make UFC figures as well. I'm not sure Mattel would be interested in UFC figures anyway, given how "well" the Jakks line did... they (UFC) are also mainly geared to adults, while Mattel lines/licences are primarily aimed at kids/teenagers. Ideally, I'd love someone like Neca or Funko to make new UFC figures... they do a great job with things like Planet Of The Apes, Alien and Games Of Thrones etc figures - and they're also aimed at the "older" market/collector, so the line might stand a chance. I doubt Mattel would pick up the UFC license Yes they would. Read my post on the first page. ...make like Frozen already and let it go...

I just don't think that a large portion of the UFC's audience are going to be the same people that buy action figures. It's probably why the Jakks line died. I can't imagine they made much money on developing the line. The UFC as a product doesn't lend itself to a particularly thriving toy line in my opinion. Would I buy say a Ronda Rousey figure? Absolutely. I don't see it happening though, the Jakks experiment was a failed one.

I'd buy a handful of those. But action figures just don't add up to me. It'd be like Jakks making Hockey or Football action figures, would the audience that those sports are geared to really go out and buy them? Enough to sustain the line? No I don't think so. But I like your McFarlane train of thought for sure.

Maybe FigureInc could pick UFC up like they did for indy wrestlers and ROH.
