Painting the ladder with acrylic paint would be fine but make sure to seal it or else it will rub off onto your figs.

it all depends on what paint you use to paint the ladder. & about the citadel paint, its great paint, but it doesnt stick to plastic as well as testors, making it not very playable.

Ah... How exactly would I seal it. I just got some acrylic paint... It's not any brand I've heard mentioned here. It works OK for little spots, but i've never tried a big thing. And I don't know about sealing it. Thanx for help.

Just a quick question here. How does sealer work? And is there a spray type or paint on sealer?

Just a quick question here. How does sealer work? And is there a spray type or paint on sealer? Sealer helps prevent paint chipping. The sealer I use makes the paint job look not so dull but it really doesn't prevent from paint chipping. I think the Krylon brand would be the best sealer to buy. Also you just have to spray it on like a spray paint. You could brush it on but it would take a while.

Is oil paint ok to use on figures? Because I have started to make a Chris Hero with oil paint and it doesn't seem so bad. I tried acrylic before but it wouldn't work very well.

The paint would just wipe away every time I swipe across it with my brush.
