It's a great set for a newcomer to figures, but the price is stupid. It should be significantly cheaper than buying the figures separately.

it wont sell here for that price I can tell ya that.....box sets should be cheaper than buying 6 figures.....like 55 Euro maybe?
anybody with a basic grasp of maths will pass this by....LOL

Anyone SHOULD pass this by. Taker' is the only figure worth getting I think. Everyone else warmed the shelves for month's at the Smyths it's being sold at.

This set sucks, sorry but its an absolute waste. Cena can't shift here at £4.99, rey hangs about in every set he's in, the rock is just his battle pack without the shirt. It's a cheap out as far as I'm concerned to try and get some quick cash.

Walmart didnt sell them all off. The 3 walmarts closest to me all still have an abundance of these things clogging up the bottom shelf. Never even found anything good hiding behind them.

Yeah, went to my local Smyths yesterday. Expecting a crap load of Elites like they normally have, when I got there there was 2 Jinder Mahal and Ryback Battle Packs and a shelve full of them 6 packs, looks like they've spent there budget on getting in a re-realesed 6 pack claiming it to be an "Exclusive". Glad I went to my local TRU and got the Build A Figure John Laurinaitis set.

Stores ended up with tons of unsold elite scale rings that rotted on shelves and the elite rings eventually had to be sold on through discount bargain stores like Big Lots at half price. If the same thing happens with these six packs, we won't see any more of them. At Smyths specifically, even I only bought the elite ring after they knocked it down in price months after it came out. And I never ever saw a shelf space that looked like anyone else had bought one -- presumably across the three branches of Smyths I go to quite a bit, people did buy them, but they always had plenty of stock. There was very little demand for elite rings, despite how much some collectors may want one now. Smyths are having similar trouble selling Elimination Chamber playsets by the looks of it when I go in there lately. |
