6 E9 Ryder's just laying there for months... Still laying there. Swedish TRU is awesome. Everyone buys WWE figs there... Not. Got everyone in E9 except Orton laying there.

I was in Detroit for work and stopped at a WM across from my hotel at 6am. E19 Liz was just stitting on the shelf under the pegs. Only elite they had in stock. Still the only time I've ever seen her at retail.

In Kmart today, the first figure on every peg was turned backwards so the card back was showing. My phone was in the car, no pics. It was a very strange sight.

The rarest figure Ive found at retail was Elite Yokozuna at Walmart. I also found Papa Shango but passed at the time because I liked my Jakks version better. I still feel the same but wish I had gotten it anyways. From now on, Ill buy any Flashback I come across if I dont already have it.

Basic AJ. Here's the (long-ish) set up:
My wife and I went on a 2 day trek for Christmas shopping/mini vacation and found 4 unsealed boxes of Basic 24 on our final stop. The TRU manager was a d*ck, and wouldn't get A box down for me (he was a d*ck based on how hateful he was, not that he wouldn't get a box). I came across a hockey stick in sporting goods and over the next 20 minutes maneuvered and caught the falling boxes. Various toy vultures formed to watch my acrobatics and I was quick to grab the AJ's once they were all down. 1 for me, 1 for a kid there who had a huge crush on her, and 2 for the vultures.
Keep in mind, this was when everyone was going nuts trying to find one. This was the first and final time I've found her figure in stores.

Year before last, I went to a local CVS to see if they had anything different on the pegs. This would have been around the time that Basic 11 was the new set. I had tried them a month prior and they only had Over the Limit CM Punk and B6 Drew McIntyre. I went back to their shelf and saw the same two figures, but as I turned I started to trip on something wedged up under the rim of the bottom shelf. It was B6 Kelly Kelly. This was when she still only had 1 figure, and despite being $13.99 at CVS, she was about $30 loose on Ebay. I still like that attire the best.
That was the same year (2011) that the one Wal-mart nearest me had so many cases of E11 that there was probably 50 or more CM Punk figures pass through. I had already found him at K-mart a month prior, but that Punk was so popular, and I thought it was interesting that some stores in some states never had him, while stores like mine had dozens and dozens. Wal-mart's like that every year, though, it's Elite roulette. Whatever set they get before Christmas, that's the set they're getting at least 2 dozen cases of.
