It would be but those calves have a slightly different mold to the regular calves which would leave a noticeable gap when used with any other boot other than the new knock pad boot. The basic versions however work with all basic boots

Yea D-Bryan has this as well. You have to dremel down the bottom of the calf to get it to fit flush with any other kind of boot.
