I was surprised, too. I guess that he didn't make enough appearances, followed by an equally abrupt disappearance. this is my thoughts as well. not enough time actually back in the WWE to warrant making a figure.

I was referencing the toy though... I'm just being grumpy today. I'm not necessarily seeing it in this thread, but in general, a lot of good questions get brought up and then blown off as jokes, and ever since the Karma button went away, I'm seeing people acting more jerkish to others. To my point, and this is all I'm saying about it, a toy can't blow it's quad. The joke's old and not even a good one. To the others on here, I agree that he should have at least had a basic. He is a wrestling legend in every bit the sense that Stone Cold and the Rock are legends. I see WWE constantly doing the bare minimum of acknowledging how brilliant WCW was, and generally ripping it for the 1999-2000 period that was a drop in the bucket of the overall picture. now worries man, the irony was that it was a toy so it doesn't have a real quad...ahh aint nobody got time fo' dat.

I would have loved a modern version of Nash in the basic line or battle packs line. I picked up a Jakks Ruthless Impact (or whatever the RA's are called now) Kevin Nash to add to my collection. My collection is made up of TTLs, RAs, and Mattels so it didn't bother me having to pick up the Jakks version. But for someone that has a collection of just Mattel I can see why its more of a problem. Maybe someday they'll make one, they made a basic Booker and he only wrestled 2 or 3 times after coming back, however he is on tv every week. I don't see why they couldn't make one and make it 1 per case if they don't think kids would buy it, that would still benefit the collectors.

I agree that a basic would have been great. If Ricky Steamboat could get one for his return match, I don't see why Nash couldn't (and let's not get into the Steamboat/Nash comparisons).

I would have bought it but I'm fine with the Diesel figure we got (as I use it as Nash not Diesel).

Probably should of had a basic made of him but oh well. We got Diesel and Nash with nice belts so I cant complain. The Jakks 2 pack with Scott Steiner is a decent substitute for a older Nash.

I was hoping they'd make a Basic out of him since they already had a decent enough pants mold used for the Undertaker heritage figure.

Geez, the guy got two Flashback figures - Diesel AND Kevin Nash.... which is two more than a lot of guys get....
Did Nash even wrestle 1 match when he came back two years ago?
