As the title says, I thought in the short time he was back he definitely deserved a figure for what he did
Any reason why he didnt get one?

Because he is a terrible wrestler.
And he didn't get enough long term TV time to warrant a figure being released 6 - 9 months after his return.

I would imagine that it was because Mattel figured a classic WCW Nash would have a lot more potential buyers than a modern Nash.

Even if it's a toy, there's a quad joke in here somewhere...
Edit: Bandalero beat me to it. Lol

I was hoping for one. Would have been cool to get that updated tatoo on his arm.

They should have made at least a basic modern Nash, it would've sold well

I wish they had made a modern Kevin Nash with an updated tattoo sleeve as well. It's a shame they never did. They probably won't ever do it now.

Because Mattel are stupid, and thought it was a good idea to release that Outsiders monstrosity that looks nothing like him.

I would much rather the Elite 16 Kevin Nash to be the WCW flashback that it was over a modern day Kevin Nash.

modern Nash figure blew its quad Haha you beat me to it. Yea Nash was more for the nostalgic collector. Little kids just looked at him as an old, out of shape guy. Mattel chose wise.

I was surprised, too. I guess that he didn't make enough appearances, followed by an equally abrupt disappearance.
BTW, are we ever going to have a conversation on here about Kevin Nash without a played out Quad joke. And in general, the uninspired jokes about whatever transgression or injury or predisposition someone has in real life? They're toys. I made a comment once about Sin Cara botching in a thread about his figures. It was forced, stupid, and made me feel like a tool. I don't make those comments anymore. It's a toy not a person.

I really wanted one too. For some reason in Basic style. Id love to have seen him in a BP with Punk or HHH, or even by himself in the regular basic series. For those saying its because he can't wrestle, he's old, or a current Nash wouldn't sell, get real. He's a legend and wrestling fans know who he is.

I was referencing the toy though... I'm just being grumpy today. I'm not necessarily seeing it in this thread, but in general, a lot of good questions get brought up and then blown off as jokes, and ever since the Karma button went away, I'm seeing people acting more jerkish to others. To my point, and this is all I'm saying about it, a toy can't blow it's quad. The joke's old and not even a good one. To the others on here, I agree that he should have at least had a basic. He is a wrestling legend in every bit the sense that Stone Cold and the Rock are legends. I see WWE constantly doing the bare minimum of acknowledging how brilliant WCW was, and generally ripping it for the 1999-2000 period that was a drop in the bucket of the overall picture.

Exactly... and its a joke, not a college thesis.
