Never seen this before, but I think Mattel should stop making dull belts period!

4 packs like that seem really cheaply made IMO. Those figures all look pretty poor :/

They sold quickly at my Target so apparently some people didn't think they sucked...

They're marketed towards kids, I remember when I was 8 I would get every box set I could, they're clearly not marketed to collectors

If I were a child, I'd think these belt packs were awesome. 4 wrestlers (pretty much exclusively big name guys) AND 4 title belts all in one package would be sweet. In fact, along with a Slammers Bret Hart, my first Jakks figures were the TRU Belt Box Set with Taker, Bulldog, Owen, and Rock.

If they stopped making the undetailed belts, they wouldn't be able to magically include detailed vac-metal berlts with basics. So you gain literally nothing from demanding such a thing.

I honestly prefer the dull belts, because most of the VUM titles only have labels, as to where the dull ones have molded detail, which can be painted.

I almost bought that pack a few times. Because I want that Austin and I try to collect every Rock.
Is RSC Austin the only Mattel to come with a shiny vac Attitude Era championship belt? I caan't wait til those ship.

Elite's just seem way too fragile in my hand.

Yeah! well looking at that Winged Eagle belt, it sure looks better than the rest aside from the WHC because it has some color in it. They could apply some color to the Attitude, WWE, and US Belts to make them distinguishable at the least. As I said above, if you have it displayed it looks just like a tag belt! Just MHO

These stores always want their own "exclusives" but they choose (or mattel does) the biggest repeats in the line to make. You would think they would ask for a guy that hasnt been made or something..

I may be the only one who doesnt mind receiving the dull belts. The reason being, I can paint and customize them to look a lot better!

I wouldn't mind the dull belts if they actually painted the details on them, like the way they did with E20 Punk's WWE Title. There's no reason they can't at the very least paint the globes and stuff even if it's just on the main plate itself.

The belt is meant to be dull in these 4 packs. They are budget packs with just basic figures and basic level belts (which rarely come with painted details).
Its a known fact that properly painted belts are reserved for the elite line where the budget exists for it.
I wish i could get the belt from this pack to paint myself actually.

A little gold leaf paint and glosscote lacquer goes a long way towards bringing those dull belts to life.
