That's a bit ridiculous, you did nothing wrong and yet you have to be out the $7 to ship it back because of their mistake. $7 bucks might not seem like a lot to some, but that's a meal on my table. Their the company who specializes in figures this shouldn't have happen and it's bad business. I am with you on this one you should call your credit card company, hell sue them if you have to! If RSC didn't have them pay the return shipping first and then recredit you account after they get the retun like the are doing for Master of the World and did in past for others like Mr Hoss I could guarantee that there would be a mass rise in "so called" defective figures that got lost in the mail during return shipping. Just like how once one person posted about the vouchers Mattel send for broken figures all of the sudden it seemed every new member here seemed to have purchased damaged figures and were asking what numbers they needed to give Mattel to receive the free figure voucher. (which was funny because if they had the figures they claimed were broken they would have already known seeing they are printed on the figures) I see nothing wrong with RSC having them pay the return shipping first. That's great in all but not all of us have $7-$9 to just throw out there for a couple of days, especially after you pay $30+ for a toy....

Sound logic. Spend money in a lawsuit over $7 all the while complaining you can't afford to eat after spending 30 on a toy.

This is going to maybe sound harsh, but if someone doesn't have an extra $10 in their pocket and are forced to live paycheck to paycheck just to get by then maybe they shouldn't be spending their money on a $25-$30 figure to begin with...and maybe save it to get ahead.

Honestly if they are replacing it at no cost to the buyer why is there even a complaint. I thought base on my original response RSC was pushing it off on the call mattel type of response. Hell if they are willing to take care of it like they should then there should be no problem. To be honest I would buy the shirt error cactus and just put my jakks fabric shirt on it and call it done. Hey RSC if you wanna sell me the error let me know

I wish I would've known this. I got a Cactus with a smudged "e" in "Wanted" but I didn't realize it until after I opened the figure and threw the package out. If anyone from RSC reads this, I'm assuming I'm screwed, right?

I had to send back a figure due to a packing error. I paid for the return shipping and RSC credited my account once they received the figure back. Probably three days after I mailed it. Which is what Tom pretty much explained in the post above. I shipped back a Jericho which had the hanging tag basically ripped off. No problem returning it and them sending me a new one. I did not know they would reimburse for my shipping cost to them but I also sent it priority. Ben was my customer service guy, we talked on the chat thing, he was very helpful. I have no issues with their service. I dont know Tom but he went out of his way to make this guy be satisfied and that is an important. If you keep calm, they will and most people are willing to help.

There are reasons for everything, not everyone has money to spend. Some people would pay $30 for a gift, and they might only have money left for food. You all sound like rich snobs, not everyone has the best financial situation. Regardless they are a company who sent out a damaged product they should do everything in their power to comfort the buyer as it is their fault. They shouldn't make the buyer go out and drive to the local post office and then pay more money out of their pocket for shipping. That is not how you conduct "Good Business"

I think you overreacted and you should be happy to have the privilege of having the figure to begin with. Not to mention Tom was more than nice to you about covering shipping costs. He didn't have to do that and you should be more than thankful that he did. However it seems a little odd to me you didn't post a picture of it or send a picture to RSC about the problem. Also next time just contact the place you bought it from instead of coming here and complaining. WF isn't the retail site, RSC is. All any of us can do is advise you to contact the company like you should have to begin with. Why is this so hard for people to understand? If I buy something from WalMart why am I going to come here and demand a refund? ![B-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/notamused.png)

I can't believe people are actually complaining that they'd be out the 7$~ for a few days to get their replacement.
And a meal on your table? What kind of meal is that, and is that going to last you 3-4 says since apparently you can't float less than 10&?
Some things are just never good enough for people. Sad, man. Very sad. Good on Ringside tho. Tom is a stand up dude.

I think its nice of RSC to replace it at no cost. Also I believe I was told that when you make a order with them you can email them with the order number and request that your figures be as close to mint as possible. Not anymore, it costs an extra $2 now.

Completely agree. As someone that has struggled financially before people need to get their priorities straight. I personally pay all my bills at once at the beginning of the money. Right now, I might have $100 of "free spending" until Friday and I do want Cactus Jack but Im saving that money for emergency and will buy him with my next check when I have a lot more extra money to spend.

Exactly. My first couple of months on here I really tried to mind my p's and q's and not start a bunch of crap, even if I read something that annoyed me. Bunch of keyboard tough guys. And the bitching and moaning about RSC charging $7 to return the defective figure, even though Tom said in black and white that they would reimburse it, really pissed me off.
