Went to the Toy Expo today and got a bunch of stuff. Compared to the last one, there wasn't much wrestling stuff from what I saw. Got a few Jakks figures, an LJN, a Mattel a few comic books, two VHS tapes and the Hulkamania Workout Set. Passed by a couple of Value Villages after and ran into yeetman13. Forgot to mention a Happy Belated Birthday! Nothing good at the Value Villages I went to. Pics will be posted in the main 80's Toy Expo thread. ^ Were there a lot of new Elites or Basics? How much did they go for? I remember the last time I went there, there was only one vendor with Mattel stuff. One vendor had lots of Elites and Basics. Elites were like $40 each and then Basics $25. Another vendor had older Basics at $15 each, which wasn't too bad |

Do you remember which series of basic the guy had? Lol I kept skipping on the Hulkamania workout set and when I got home and looked it up on eBay the this was going minimum $200! Then I got pissed  How much did you pay for it? |

One vendor had the newer series of Basics, plus the ones you can only get in the US (t-shirt series) The other vendor had random ones from probably Basic 21 or 22 and also ones still in the old packaging. Paid $35 for the Hogan set. Pics have been posted in the 80's Toy Expo thread. |

Damn $15 for those t shirt series figures isn't bad at all, considering I really want the Punk and Orton one!

^I should have been specific with the prices. Those were $25. The $15 ones were the older ones.

I just emailed them(people from the Markham Toy Expo) asking if there will be wrestling stuff and if it cost $5 admission fee: There will be about 23 vendors (though spread over about twice as many tables), $5 for all over 10 (kids are free) and I know at least one vendor will be bringing wrestling figures.There will also be free sketches for kids by some local professional comic artists and an hourly prize raffle with proceeds being donated in support of the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Hope this helps! This is from a event coordinator. I don't know if 1 WWE vendor will be worth paying $5 going  |

Went to the 80's Toy Con and picked up Elite Series 19 Dolph Ziggler for $25. Sick figure! ya that must of been the dolph i saw.. was right near a door entrance.. i dont collect those, but i figured that was a decent deal.. that guy seemed to have decent prices on elite figures, compared to another table somewhere else, that wanted $40 each |

that workout set went to crap, in price wise.. i got it from that same dealer back 1.5 years ago lol.. he been trying to sell them at $45 EVERY show lol.. i bought two of them at closing 1.5yrs ago for $50... planned to re-sell the second one, but i havent been able to.. a friend of mine, sold a few of them for $150 a year ago.. crazy...
VHS tapes eh? never saw any :/

Just found out about the "Toronto Toy Fair 2013" In case anyone was wondering, it is on Sunday, May 5th at the Holiday Inn, 7095 Woodbine Ave., Markham. Admission is only $5, so I'm planning to go.. This. |
