An unconvicted murderer defeated a 430lb leaky container of Hep C for a title said murderer owned. This is why Puerto Rico is the Mecca of wrestling dignity. Lmao! I've only see a couple of shoots about the Brody murder trial, but I've never seen specifics on what Colon said. Also, has Atlas gone on record saying why he didn't testify? I stand corrected. It turns out a native wrestler known under the gimmick "Invader #1" is the most likely culprit. I stand corrected & feel hopelessly stupid.

Tony Atlas has claimed that by the time him and Dutch got their papers to appear the trial was over

I stand corrected & feel hopelessly stupid. Invader 1 (Jose Gonzales) was the culprit, by all accounts, but there have been accusations by many wrestlers of a cover-up. This is an article/blog written by Dutch Mantel: Here's the whole thing (a long read) and the case's handling seems very questionable: link

Crazy knowing that it's the 25th Rumble this year! The first year was 1988 with Jim Duggan winning. 1989 was the year of Big John Studd. Last year was the 25th anniversary.

For anyone confused: 1989 with John Studd winning was the first Royal Rumble PPV. But not the very first Royal Rumble event, that took place in 1988 on the USA network.

Today in 2000. Chris Benoit won the WCW title from Sid at Souled Out. He forfeited the title and left WCW the next day along with Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn and headed to the WWF.

There was a contract signing for the Hulk/Andre match on The Main Event at the '88 Royal Rumble.

No one wonder I never found it at the Video Warehouse when they were selling old WWF tapes. I actually own the first volume of the Anthology.

Nope, otherwise Silvervision would have included it as part of the Tagged Classics. I did see a photo of the '88 Royal Rumble being listed as part of a Coliseum Video release several years ago. Sadly, it didn't get a home video release till 2007.
