Any chance of a Kirby figure? I'm not sure what license issues they have or anything, but id love a figure of that little fat guy.

No Kirby, he's partially owned by HAL. He's going to have a Nindo figure soon though.

What he said. You're going to have to get the Kirby Amiibo and be done with it.

That Nendo one I mentioned looks really nice. You don't need to settle for Amiibo. Not really related to Jakks, but I went full steam ahead with a Pokemon Trainer. This is probably the most ambitious I've ever been with painting a figure. Even went crazy and bought sealer. I'm REALLY happy with how it turned out. I would've done his hands too, but the gloves are molded on so I couldn't just acetone them off. But it's still good. Same for the hair, I wouldn't mind painting it brown, but that's getting into a lot of tiny areas. I need an Ivysaur I'd really love to take an updated pic of all of my collection, but I'm still on a Fox hunt

Yeah that one. It'll come with a lot of swappable parts including a Link hat and sword, plus it'll be better scaled.

Well, to each their own. I think it looks very meh. Plus, won't it cost at least twice as much (or more) than the Amiibo figures?

It'll cost more, but I'd rather pay extra for an actual figure. The Amiibo will be too small, stuck in a weird pose, and I'd have to pry it off of that base.

Considering he's just a round pink marshmallow, I think the Amiibo figure has a fine pose. Besides, we're talking 13 bucks for the Amiibo and probably 40 or more for the Nendo.

Doesnt look like it. Also where do you buy those? He'll come with alternate hands and feet for more posing options. Kirby's one that could be really tricky to actually articulate. I always order from Amiami. Good prices and fast shipping. I don't know, like you said, to each his own. I gladly paid $30+ for Figuarts Mario and Luigi vs the Jakks versions. Same with Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard, and Mewtwo, who I all had decent versions of, but replaced with high-end Japanese versions. My video game figures have been a labor of love to collect over the years, I don't wanna skimp on them. I like having the best figures possible.

Actually, I didn't even spend that much on them. They were about $25 plus shipping, which is about what Kirby will be judging by the other Nendo prices.
Don't even ask about how much I paid for the Figma Snake so I could replace the Macfarlane version I had. That one I questioned...

I picked up a mini Piranha Plant at Walmart last night. They had a tray of the new figures out. Also in the wave is Fire Mario, Ice Luigi, Yoshi, and Bullet Bill.

Not from Jakks. They said they don't have the rights to SSB, Punch Out, or Kirby.

Boy Wonder - what's that custom Pokemon trainer supposed to be based on? Your repaint I mean. Sorry my Pokemon knowledge is a bit rusty, is it based on one of the video games?

I just saw a 6 inch Bowser at my local Toys R Us. They finally restocked.
