i liked it a lot. fresh, yet the same style I think if someone goes into it expecting traditional Fall Out Boy, they're bound to be disappointed. I grew up with this band, I love everything they've ever written, I think they've matured greatly with every release, and even after fully preparing myself for a total change of direction, I was a little taken aback during my first listen. But I'm warming up to it quickly. The hardcore kids and the "old fans" that are still clamoring for another Take This To Your Grave will probably hate it, but my musical taste has branched out so much since they went on hiatus that I'm able to really appreciate it, and I love that. I've always understood the people that were upset that Fall Out Boy wasn't "their" band anymore, and this record is only going to alienate those people more. I'll say, unequivocally, that if this record had come out ten, hell, even five years ago, I would have hated it. I would have written them off and probably never come back to them again, but a lot has changed in that amount of time and I'm perfectly comfortable with this incarnation of Fall Out Boy. Thank you, both of you, for your thoughts. I'll hopefully get a chance to pick it up tonight.

Well put. They've evolved well, i'd say.

Thee Oh Sees - "Floating Coffin" Fall Out Boy - "Save Rock and Roll"
The new FOB album is pretty good. This is coming from a guy who was never a huge fan of them in the first place. I think it's way better than their older stuff. Thee Oh Sees new album was disappointing, by the way.

Finally got around to listening to David Draiman's new project, Device. I loved every single song on that album but there were some songs that stood out than others. Most notably Haze with M. Shadows and the cover of Close My Eyes Forever with Lzzy Hale.

Currently listening to Victims of the Modern Age by Star One. So far it's a really good album.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Mosquito" nice, having this and Ghost's Infestissumam on repeat for the last day or so. It was bad, but it wasn't great either. Might give it another listen, but I was expecting something better. The Flaming Lips - "The Terror" Paramore - "Paramore" Kid Cudi - "Indicud" Paramore's album wasn't too bad, The Flaming Lips was disappointing, and Indicud made me question why I listen to music. Probably the most disappointing album since Battle Born last year.

It was bad, but it wasn't great either. Might give it another listen, but I was expecting something better. I think it's an improvement from It's Blitz. Fantastic album! really underrated by Mastodon fans too Daria rocks too
