It's nice to see you trying out pivot there Kyle. Overall what you need to work on mainly is stiffness and frame speed and choppiness and spacing.
From what I can tell, the lifter looked incredibly stiff in his knees and his back, his knees normally would be bent slightly during lift up in order build momentum in the lift, also his back would be leaned forward and moved consistently until the stick is overhead and is about to be slammed and the slam itself could have used better joint movement from the slammer and the stick taking the bump.
The stick being lifted up was very very stiff as well, the joint movement was very unrealistic so make sure you have references so you can analyze the movements and copy it down to it's exact detail. The spacing needs to be worked on but just work on stiffness then try to fix that a little later.

And I also found the lift up disappointing and towards the end I realized that I should of bent him down instead of the sticks current stance. Again thanks!

Faster would work better in this case.

I wouldn't make the animation speed faster (usually doesn't make the gif faster anyway.) I instead would remove a bunch of frames. You need to find the right amount of spacing a character needs to do on every movement. With pivot if you want fast movements you make larger distant's from their last positions.
You don't want to make the movements too far from each other otherwise it will become choppy, but you don't want the movements so close that they hardly move. I kind of think of it like a flip book.
The animation is alright though, you got some good movements (could do with some more bending of the joints)

Lol, I made that ring ages ago. Really stiff and floaty here though man, use youtube clips for reference.
