Batusi Batman arrived about an hour ago. Pretty sweet. Love the music feature. I very rarely shoot video with my old camera, but I had fun doing that on one take lol. Check the album for pics of Batusi Batman, as well as The Riddler and The Penguin: s3.photobucket.com/user/tmac152303/library/Batman%20Classic%20TV%20Series%20Collection?sort=2&page=6I think The Penguin's monocle could've been painted better; it just blends in with his cheek/skin and sadly reminds me of the old Jakks BCA Jim Cornette (although it's not quite as obtrusive). The cigarette holder is also missing paint, though I would imagine it was a cost-cutting measure in order to paint/include the umbrella accessory. I didn't notice anything off about The Riddler, however, and I love the small question marks adorning his outfit.

Well, Hulk beat me to it....stupid photobucket and their bandwith limits anyway today I received this incredibly rad package at my door....Holy Fast Delivery Batman! Now I wasn't alive to see the original series as it happened, when I was a kid they were running episodes in syndication, and I fell in love with the entire series, from beginning to end, it was so much fun and just damn entertaining. I still have hopes that one day we will get the series on DVD. With this action figure line, it's giving me even more hope. Anyway, on to these BAM! POW! WHACK! figures..... First off, these are a little smaller than I expected...especially for $16. But the details are pretty awesome and really, it doesn't get any better than this. Each package is colorfully decorated, with features that bring you right back into the show. The back of the carding also has a little bio and pictures of the other characters in the line Batman- What an incredible job. I mean seriously, the head looks exactly like Adam West. The body size is perfect, the cape is a thin but shiny material. And he has multiple POA's, not too many....just enough to keep you happy. The surprise! Each figure comes with it's own TV Show Fight themed display stand! And it appears they will all be different. The packages also come with a display card for each character that attaches to the base and really brings out a display. Way cool. The completed display looks like this: Now while you can't see the card much with the figure in front of it, it's still pretty awesome. The cards have a vintage feel and look like how they would have been made in the 60's. They are a sturdy thick cardboard with vivid color. Again, these figures are smaller than I expected- But really...I could not find anything to complain about. Penguin is my 2nd favorite Batman villain...especially from the original series. Burgess Meredith was quite possibly the perfect guy to play this character. Mattel has captured his likeness here to almost a perfect degree. Right down to the extra long cigarette hanging from his mouth (even though its not painted at the end to look like a cigarette). It's tough to get the cig. to stick out straight unfortunately and a part of me wishes that his umbrella would open...but again, i'm not gonna be too picky here. As you can see, Penguin's display base boasts a different "impact" word! Full display- In closing....holy crap Batman, this line is amazing. I really hope it does well and they continue to make other characters. I should be getting Riddler on Monday, and the others as soon as they are available. I absolutely cannot wait for my display to be finished.

Looks great chip. Does yours have some dark shading around the knees? I agree for the price the figs are small but the stand makes up for it. The package is so great too.

Anyone seen this variant DC Comics cover yet featuring the new Batman line? It was a SDCC exclusive, but they have been showing up on eBay as of late. I might try to get one.

while I kind of agree, I still think there is room to make a few more.
there were quite a number of villains in the series, most of them would not sell well i'm sure but i think a Mr. Freeze, King Tut, Egghead & Mad Hatter (although I could see licensing issues for Hatter & Tut) Along with Batgirl, Alfred & Commissioner Gordan and maybe even O'Hara
They could do a couple of variations on Batman & Robin (Batman with a huge bomb, Robin as Dick Grayson, Batman as Bruce Wayne)...there are at least a few other possibilities. I'd bet if the main line does really well they will explore other options. I'll buy 'em all
