SPLIT!?! What the fight was they watching? All three rounds are Lyoto. There is debate for Henderson winning the third, but he didn't do anything with his top position. Jesus they need to fix the judging criteria or the judges. Also that was a fun fight to watch for me, these drunks. Dude, I had 30-28 Henderson. Machida took maybe 6 forward steps the entire fight. And defensive fighting is fine when it's effective, but I didn't see effectiveness. Dan controlled the center of the octagon, landed a good handful of leg kicks, and hit Machida hard a number of times. The little offense Machida did put together, outside of his sweet and well earned trip in the first, were all 'get away!' counter shots. 10-10, 10-9 H, 10-9 H. That's what I saw.

I'm so pleased Carmouche put up a good fight... it's a great start to women's MMA in the UFC. I thought Rousey was going to get her head twist off(!) - that looked nasty.
And how awesome was that Bermudez/Grice fight...? Possible FOTY candidate.

But Liz just applying a powerful torque and Segal-ing Ronda? Hahaha. I was getting freaked out. Ronda and Liz are the baddest of the bad.

Also, MMAMania.com scored the Machida/Henderson fight 28-28 while Sherdog.com saw 30-27 Machida. Man, I guess this one is just puzzling. I didn't see a Machida victory.

Also, anyone else think the UFC might make Ronda wear a larger top next time?
Her boobs almost came out more than once. Not that any of us would be pissed, but I can see them possible asking her to wear the Carmouche get up next time.

I seriously hated that fight. Not because it sucked, but because it went exactly how I thought it would. Hendo pressing forward while Machida disguised his running as elusiveness.
I'm also very impressed with Lawler. I really thought it was a horrible match up for him and that Kos would be able to impose his will anywhere but on the feet. Great to see him get the finish.

Main event was better than expected. Carmouche was game and fought hard, but in the end became just another victim.
lol, I gotta re-watch Machida vs Hendo, but him winning the split decision seemed just. Hendo fought exactly how we all knew he would, but Lyoto seemed to respect his power too much. It wasn't a pretty win, but I believe Machida was a lot more active in the first two rounds than he was when he fought Rampage.
With that being said, if Gus or Moussasi win impressively, then either one of them should get Jones next.

Very happy for WMMA. Rousey fights are always that much more interesting when she gets herself in trouble, & somehow finds a way out of it. I guessed it would end by SUB, but not an arm bar. I was leaning towards a rear naked choke. Things could not have gone better for the division. An exciting fight, & both women looked great.
I was so disappointed in Machida/Hendo. This was a "dream" fight for me for years & I was so let down. I scored it 29-28 Hendo. I gave him round 1, yes I know Machida got the take down at the end of the round, but Hendo kept stalking him & throwing. Then I gave him round 3. I don't dislike Machida, but I sure as hell am not looking forward to him & Jones again.
Also loved Lawler getting the win. Hopefully his career is headed back on the path it was in his early UFC run.

I don't think it was a big deal... Carmouche had her arm around Rousey's face/mouth - it would probably have been harder to not bite down.

Damn, that's not cool. Do you have any pics of it? /photo/1Unintentional of course. Ronda apologized at the press conference. The mouthguard slipped out and Liz's forearm was pressed against Ronda's teeth during the crank.

I'm real glad the female fighters got a chance to shine tonight.

Exactly, having a forearm across your teeth is extremely painful and like the twitter account said certainly not fun for either Woman. In my opinion Ronda was probably in more pain during and after the fight as a result of not having the mouth guard and having forearm pressure against her mouth.
Great main event. Also, for all the hopeful nip slippers out there I'm sure she had pasties on.....
Lyoto and Hendo was just okay. In my opinion Lyoto won. He did what he does.. Game plan executed. Dan looked 8 years older and 15 months out of the game. Although, I agree that Lyoto definitly had the body language of respecting the power of Hendo.
And what amazing BJJ by Faber! Stunning work.

I've heard a few people call Ronda a "one trick pony" and I'm not sure if I completely agree with that or not. I mean, if you check her record out, she has won every single fight she's had by armbar, also finished them all in the first round. She doesn't even know what a second round feels like yet.
She's a great fighter, don't get me wrong, but it would be a nice change if she finished fights by other means of submission, ground and pound, KO or something other than her go-to signature move. But hey, if its not broke, don't fix it. Go with what works and so far nobody has figured out the solution to Ronda's "one trick". It was a great fight and I just wonder who's next in line.
Also, without question, early FOTY candidate goes to the incredible Matt Grice & Dennis Bermudez fight. Man, what a war that was!!! I loved it.
