Mattel wouldn't be selling Elites at McDonald's for $2.99.....the point of this question is if WWE were to have Happy Meal Toys, would Mattel make them...not Mattel selling Elites or Basics at McDonald's... I was referring to Rumbler style figures. Was misleading since you quoted someone about Elites.

I thought the Burger King toys were kinda lame but I was happy that WWE was at least getting a tie-in.

Rumblers are perfect Happy Meal or cereal toys, but considering how much Mattel charges for them, I don't think they want us to notice that. Exactly. And in 1988 I asked my mother this very same question...it still confuses the heck out of me. It seems like a partnership with one of the top fast-food chains would be quite lucrative. And not the half-assed effort they gave the Burger King gimmicks. I mean a legitimate effort. Oh well...

I think a cool set of Happy Meal WCW Galoob style figures would be neat. That's probably the best you are going to do since they already have Rumblers. Like solid versions of the old jakks BuildNBrawlers or something.

I'd imagine McDonald's probably considers WWE fans too old for their Happy Meal target market. Most of the toys nowadays seem to be marketed to very young children - not the tweens that WWE seems to grab.

Rumblers are what, $7 for 2-pack? I don't see why they couldn't just include 1 Rumbler per Happy Meal. It's great advertising for the line, too. Just do Cena/Punk/Rey/Sheamus or something and include a little pamphlet showing that it's a real line at retail. Get 'em hooked.

I'm shocked they haven't hooked up with a pimple cream company...
Imagine how much irritation a face in wrestling goes through...sweat, dirty wrestling ring, always having your face touched
Throw AJ & Cena on a Neutrogena or Proactive commercial & they'd do well to promote the product

Well I heard that Grimace went heel and teamed up with the Hamburglar and smashed Vince threw a table. They never showed the footage though.
