I think that you need a JBL in that group along with Booker T

they all look great, but as others have said, you could definitley "beef up" the '02/'03 presence with guys like Rey, Booker & JBL.
Actually, has anyone tried to remove the tattoos from an Elite Mysterio? is it even possible?

That SD 2002 display is looking great, the best era for Smackdown I think.

Very sharp fix ups you got the Bandy. You are easily one of the best on here.

Nice job on that Smackdown roster man. But to continue with the peer pressure - you've gotta have Chavo there! That was the best run of his career!
I'm editing my VHS tapes onto DVD and am now onto 1999, which was pretty good, but not as good as 98. The Smackdown Six era is probably the next time frame I'm looking forward to editing so I'm sure I'll be like you very soon and wanting figures from that era.

E13 Edge is waiting for his E20 Christian to arrive and wear the second SD tag strap. I'm waiting on a Michael Cole body to make a Paul E fix-up for FB Brock (who's still a WIP too). And I decided against owning Chavo - just not a fan of his. Kurt Angle presented all sorts of challenges without the right parts available, but thanks to PJ for cluing me into Havoc Unleashed Series 1 Kurt Angle for the perfect-scale head. And after countless knees/calves/boots combos I've settled on this one since it gives Kurt the correct height/scale. So what do you think? I gotta get that Kurt Angle recipe! I love it! Great Work!!! PM me please! The ones on the left are yours. ;D

Pretty crappy time to not be watching wrestling. Awesome figures.

I suggest you get the Defining Moments Cena. It would work well in a group with them.

thanks for the comments guys! To answer the Kurt recipe: Head - Jakks Havoc Unleashed Series 1 Kurt Angle (don't get series 2!) Body-to-thighs - WM Jack Swagger Arms - generic arms with no wrist tape Knees - any extra small joints like from Steamboat, Cara, Rockers, etc. Calves - I cheated, the only calves that were short enough and still fit flush with the top of the boots were the Orndorff-style calves, so the skin-tone does not match, but the knee-err- leg sleeves are so long it breaks it up enough to be barely noticeable Boots - George Steele I could be wrong but in 2002/2003 wasn't Booker on RAW and in a tag team with Goldust? Likewise I don't think the JBL gimmick was around in 2002/2003? I've never owned a Cena or a Rey Rey but a number of you have mentioned Rey as a must for this time period. I didn't even know he and Edge were tag champs, always thought Edge was with Christian. But what elite Rey would you recommend? Still can't bring myself to be interested in Chavo though Dean: can't wait to get Brock and Paul E back together Mattel-style! SeanDisco: yeah it was a crappy time not to be watching wrestling, but after devoutly following the NWA in the 80s, watching the nWo angle and Bitchoff drive my beloved WCW to the ground, and graduating from University, I needed a break from WWF/E ~ I sorta knew the major storylines etc, but never realized the quality of wrestling being given away for free every Thursday night on SD during that time.

Hell yeah congrats on the graduation. Smackdown kicked so much ass in 2002. I felt like the peak was right at the time Rey Jr was making his debut. There was so much speed every show. It was insane.

cool thanks for the tips Showoff, I might just be interested in Big Show finally if only to recreate when Brock Superplexed him But a couple questions - was Randy on the SD roster in 2002/03? I thought he was in Evolution on RAW. And didn't Rocky have hair back then? E16 is bald right?

It would be E14 because he didn't have the facial hair.

Awesome nice start to a 2002 SmackDown roster! I think the Legends 3(?) Rock may be suitable for it as he's wearing the same trunks he wore at WrestleMania X8. Also, if you acetoned the Swagger design off the singlet & knee pads & added some red paint & decals perhaps, you could make a really simple yet effective Angle in his Team Angle attire (2003) Rated [R] NinJa

I think people are confusing the fact that you're focusing ONLY on SMACKDOWN superstars from 2002-2003 and suggesting fix-ups of the ones on Raw at the time as well. Anyhow, You need to add: Stephanie (Jakks head w/ Alias' Sydney Bristow body) Hogan (R3 head, the one w/Hogan Still Rules bandana, Kane body and some seriously skilled painting on the legs) Rey; I guess the RSC Exclusive Flash Rey could work and/or may not have tattoos underneath the red rubber shirt. The Rock: This is a tricky one beause whe Rock was on Smackdown in 2002, he did not yet have his Samoan tattoo on the left chest/shoulder. The L3 Rock is the closest to his look then, but his hair in real life was a lot thinner than the headscan on the figure. Vince: Any of the jakks Vince headscans on the COO Triple H body (since the Mattel Vince is incredibly hard to find) would work well.
Also, I don't remember but was Jericho on Raw or Smackdown in 2002? I know for sure he was on Raw during 2003, but the previous year I'm not too sure of.
