Think it'sbrilliant, but the games can get a bit samey. My biggest gripe is constantly having to play against an 8 man defence when playing the CPU until you score. Me and my mate were out Thursday night and didn't get home til just after 12 so decided to go get it at Game. Paid £45 and went to Tesco's straight after for munchies - saw it displayed for £29 there ![>:(](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/angry.gif)

It was £29 in Tesco if you bought other items I believe, such as Xbox points. I got it for £33.33 from HMV at the airport. ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif)

Really enjoying career mode. In my 3rd season at Liverpool and my team are so fun to use. Did OK in my first season but was forced to sell Suarez and Agger in the second. So with the money revamped the squad and won the league and europa league. Just started season 3 and also just took over as the Germany manager. Got bored of waiting for the England job ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif) It seems alot of the younger players progress alot quicker than last year and older players decrease really fast. Drogba went down from a 85 to a 74 in one season and Di Natale was a 65 rated player last I saw. Found a few players that progress well and are cheapish if anyone is interested. Anyone else doing a career mode?

Finished my first player season as a CAM at Carlisle (wanted to start in a lower division like a real footballer would.) In January I turned down offers from QPR, Everton and Marseille. Now in August I've turned down Marseille again and apparently Newcastle are interested so I hope they come in for me.
Carlisle finished top and I had about 15 goals and 20 assists. The manager left me out of the FA Cup quarter final and we lost so I wasn't happy about that.

I do find the Games a bit repetitive in Career Mode if I'm honest. Every Game seems to be the same, with me having about 70% of the ball trying to break down there bus on the edge of there box. Currently doing my first Season at Bayer Leverkusen, and just landed the Belgium job at the same time.

Experienced a new glitch today in one game. An invisible ball! I still managed to win 'cos I could tell roughly where the ball was. ![](http://imageshack.us/a/img821/2792/fifa13invisiball.jpg) The ball's in the back of the net. Not that you can see it like.

Shame you can't even beat Australia though mate.... ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif) My Career mode is going well, I won the league in my first season with Everton by 1 point even though I had to sell Jelavic to Barca (very realistic) then all my players got injured it seemed and Stoke did the double over me somehow but I managed to hang on. Now in my second year and the Belgium manager too.

I am in my first season with Spurs and really did not have much money to start with. I wanted a new striker and a couple of mid fielders. Anyway the only striker I could get who would not break the bank was Kris Boyd. I bought him as back up to Defoe and Manu, but for whatever reason Manu could not score in a brothel and I am in March of my first season and Kris Boyd is on 25 goals in all competitions. Any one else had any great unexpected signings.
the league is really tight I have only lost two games, but I have drawn way to many so I am in third, but anyone from 1st to 7th really is in with a shot, but I am in the semis of the FA cup. And just signed up to manage the USA. I kind of wish I did not join them though and waited for a European nation.
I am really enjoying the game so far. I am amazed at how addicting the skill games are.

Nearly finished my first season with Tottenham. Like everyone else, I am getting bored of the matches; all of my games on Fifa 12 were end to end and packed full of goals (4-3, 5-4, 4-4's, etc.), whereas on Fifa 13, I am just winning 1-0 or 2-1 all the time. Young players growth is ridiculously quick, but am worried they will stop growing after 2-3 seasons at this rate. Also like the more realistic transfer fee's; on Fifa 12 I signed Thomas Muller for £30 million, whereas on Fifa 13 I've been able to sign some great players for very cheap. Picked up a few players I know will grow quickly, and have massive potential (Jetro Willems, Juan Iturbe, Heung-Min Son), as well as Stevan Jovetic for £24 million and one of my favourite players (IRL) right now, Stephan El Shaarawy for £10.5 million.

I am playing my first career mode with Arsenal ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif) , I've only got a few matches left before the Barclays premier league is over, i am currently on top with 80 points, im also the manager of Romania and so far i have won the league cup, and have made it to the semi finals of the Champions cup and the final of the FA cup, not bad for a first time manager lol ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif) .

Experienced my first glitch. In career mode I had a game on transfer deadline day but the match never came about, checked on September 1st to find out I had won 1-0. Doesn't bother me that much but luckily I won.

Actually in love with career mode. Some of the minor features they've added make a massive difference. I was in desperate need of a CM in deadline day and was strapped for cash, but managed to get Cattermole on the cheap as he only had a few months left on his contract. Also had Ben Mee come to me and say he felt threatned by the number of defenders I was bringing in and made some decent player plus cash deals. I agree with Noza on a few things though - young players you know will excel you can get far too cheap. I went Burnley and managed to get the likes of Lucas Piazon, Luke Shaw, Leon Goretzka and Jack Butland for extremely low fees. I'm only a few months into my 2nd season, but already they're values and ratings have rocketed. I actually like the fact that they grow so quick though, they've finally got that right. Managed to win the Championship on the last day of the season, got a decent budget for the new season and got the Scotland job. Here's my team for the PL so far: Adan (73) Trippier (73) Varane (77) Mee (72) Boilesen (75) Forrest (78) Bannan (78) Cattermole (75) Wallace (73) Austin (75) Russell (77) Subs: Butland (69), Shackell (72), Luke Shaw (66), Ward-Prowse (71), Stanislas (73), Piazon (70), Ben Khalifa (76) In the Championship I was experiencing the same boring matches as Noza. Rarely more than a couple of goals per game, but in the PL I've been getting a huge variety of outcomes. Beat Liverpool 4-2 followed by a 3-0 win over Fulham just for Spurs to pump me 3-0. Like I say, really enjoying it. First Saturday night in for months playing it ![:D](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/grin.gif)

All my games so far have been end-to-end, and I've been shipping goals frequently, as well as scoring them. Much more fun. For anyone with a lot of coins, in the catalogue feature (or whatever they've called it), you can purchase the ability to get a billionaire takeover. I had a crap load of coins from the other Fifa games, so bought one. Got given £65 million to spend. Bit of a cheap way to get cash, but was able to fully bolster my squad, as well as sign loads of 18-19 year olds I know will grow to be top players in the future.

As soon as I started my career Barca and Chelsea came in with £35m bids for Rooney - I countered at £50m to scare them off but Barca accepted that, so I sold him. Bought Neymar (£15m+Cleverley), Dani Alves (£12m) and Vidal (£22m) for that money, then sold Ashley Young to Arsenal for £20m and bought Gotze for £30m+Anderson. Had a bit of money left over so on deadline day I bought Mandanda for £6m+Lindegaard.
I've made a pact not to buy any players I bought on 12 (with the exception of Vidal who I bought in 2015 and only played a few games before 13 came out) which has been interesting, but I do miss Ronaldo leading the line. My team doesn't have one star like last year when he played, meaning the goals are shared out a lot more.
Season's been going well sofar, just beat City 3-1 on their own patch. Vidal is class and after a slow start RVP has got into his #10 role well. Hernandez is in blistering form, and Neymar has shown flashes of genius. I'm in December 2012 atm, if the world doesn't end I'll try and sell one or two players; maybe Chris Smalling as I have enough defenders and he's pretty injury prone.
Anyone using the Scouting System? I've been put off after players didn't improve last year.

Took over as Cardiff in my career mode and like McBlake i'm loving it. I always loved my FM games when I had loads of dosh so I unlocked the billionaire takeover feature from the catalogue at first opportunity. Was given £50m to take them up but only used about £15m using it to sign players capable of getting me out of the division (Charlie Austin, Craig Mackail-Smith, Joe Ledley & Roger Johnson - the latter two because i'm a sucker of signing ex-players). Won the league with ease.
Given £35m to spend for my 1st PL season and signed Wilfried Zaha, Nathan Redmond, Nolan Roux, Chris Brunt and Jonas Olsson (from relegated WBA), Martin Olsson, Jeremy Clement, Geoffrey Jourden & got John Guidetti on a season long loan. Trying to keep it as realistic as possible rather than spunking it on 80+ rated players.
Jourden McNaughton--Johnson--J.Olsson--M.Olsson Brunt--Clement--Ledley--Noone Roux--Guidetti
Subs: Marshall, Turner, Kim Bo-Kyung, Whittingham, Redmond, Zaha & Austin.
I'd say that's my usual squad of 18 but i'm always prone to injury or suspensions.
Currently 6th after 5 games (2W, 2D, 1L). Vying for one of the cups this season, main objection for me is to get European football.

Anyone using the Scouting System? I've been put off after players didn't improve last year. I haven't used it yet but probably will. I did last year but like you I wasn't impressed at how low the player ratings were and they wouldn't go up quickly. Started my manager career at Newcastle and have won all 3 opening Prem games but drew 0-0 with Club Brugges in the Europa League. I had 22 shots (14 on target) and 12 corners but still couldn't score. Frustrating. Brought in Debuchy for £7.7m + Tavernier, Justin Morrow (64) from SJ Earthquake as a backup LB for just under £300k. Sold Simpson to QPR for £2.7m since he felt threatened by Debuchy's arrival. Got rid of Ranger too. I'm doing a good job of using guys like Vuckic, Bigirimana and Ferguson against weaker teams 'cos I plan to stay at Newcastle for a long time and they're my future first team players. Tiote got a broken elbow 3 games in so he's out for 2 months, giving Anita and Gosling more chances.
