Hit 3 TRUs today looking for Classics. Store 1 had an empty box, Store 2 had nothing, and Store 3 had multiples of everyone, except for 1 Mikey. Both Dons had pretty good eyes. Grabbed what I needed, and I am happy to not look for these anymore.

Is the sewer layer compatible with the classics? I picked up Raph the other day at my local comic store, wanted more but they were $20 each.
Anyway, these figures are amazing. The quality, detail and poseability are flawless. They seriously better have more planned, I'm seriously dying for Shredder to be in this line.
The next series should be Shredder, Splinter, April and Beebob & Rocksteady and possibly Krang.

Went back to get the other figures in the basic set and realized how out of scale they look versus the turtles. Splinter is much bigger, Shredder is the same size or smaller. Splinter is taller than Shredder. . . ugh
EDIT: I am wrong about Shredder, he is taller. . . sorry. Just doesn't look that tall in the box.

I didn't realize how much smaller the new versions were compared to the classics. I guess that answers my question about the sewer playset. That kind of sucks because I really wanted that playset because it was so cool, but it's pretty useless without the cartoon figures. And as awesome as they look, I really don't want any of those.
Anyway, I got the rest of the classic TMNT figures yesterday. I can't speak anymore highly of them, they are flawless.

I got Classic Mike and Don at TRU today.....they had Leo and Raph also, but their eyes were really ed up, like the white was messy and spilling out onto the bandana, so I passed on those 2. I'm sure I'll be able to find Leo and Raph again, for $16.99 I didn't want to buy them and be unhappy with them.

I'm desperate for news on wave 2 of the classic line so I had a dig around on Playmates facebook page. This is all I could find but it's better than nothing:
I think there was a few more people asking about movie figures but Playmates are basically giving the same answer every time - what comes next all depends on sales of wave 1.
The classic line isn't out in the UK yet, so I would appreciate if some of you Americans could give your thoughts as to how well the classic line is selling in stores.

The 2 TRU that I have been to, already sold out of the Classic and only a few nick toon are available. Have not seen them at Target or Walmart. I think they also will carry them. They might sell there too because they are going to be cheaper at $14.99 compared what TRU has them at $16.99

Here the Nick figures took a week and half to completely sell out, the Classic figures took about the same but a guy who re-sells figures online bought half of what they put out on the first day so no telling how well they are really doing. In a month a bunch could show back up due to the inability to sell them online or because the hardcore collectors already bought what they wanted of them.

You know coming from a huge TMNT fan..I'm sure theres a ton of us. I really love the new look of the new figures. I think I'm just going to pass on the classics and get the new styled ones. I love them. The classics are too big for my taste in turtles figures I ike them around the 5inch mark. Bur the new styled figures are amazing def getting all four of the turtles pass on the rest.

I found Leo and Raph today and their eyes were painted perfect so I bought them and I now have all 4 classic turtles. I think these are so awesome. I'm so glad I was able to find them. $16.99 a pop at TRU is a little more than I'd like to pay, but the price of every toy these days is higher than I think we'd all like. I remember back in the day when the price of a 6 inch figure was no more than $5.99.....but times have changed and everything is more. But at least the quality of these Classic Ninja Turtles figures is good besides the bad paint jobs, but if you get a good paint job they really are amazing figures.

I really REALLY hope this means we'll be getting Shredder. I don't care who's in series two as long as at least Shredder is in it.

I'm hoping Walmart gets these in. I'm looking to collect the new line, however I wouldn't mind having one from the classic line. I really like the looks of the Shredder. I can't wait to find these in stores.

I saw all the Nick figures today at Target. Didn't pick any up, because I think I'm just going to collect the Classics line.
