I hate to be overly negative, but that was legitimately the worst episode of wrestling I ever watched.
I didn't mind Aj in the title picture, but that first 20 minute segment was just horrendously awkward. The whole marriage thing they brought is so stupid.
Cole vs. Lawler?? Who cares. Hornswoggle as anonymous GM.. Wat.
Lord Tensai is still pretending to be Japanese and still has Sakamoto. No development there aside from Vikie looking at him. Please turn him back to A-Train, Vickie, so he could at least have an entertaining entrance theme.
Brodus Clay squash matches.. I thought this was July, not January.
Backlund segment was awkward and longer than it needed to be.
LOL at the people who said sin cara would soon be fired. But he has no place in the MITB match IMO.

That show was absolute crap. Screw it and screw Money in the Bank too. Truth/Kofi vs Hunico/Camacho? Where the heck are the Primetime Players? Frickin Sin Cara in MITB? Over Slater? Over Ryder? Over McIntyre? Over Khali? I hate Sin Cara. King vs Cole for the 1000th time in celebration of 1000 episodes of Raw? And people voted for it? Anonymous GM is back. Ugh. Hornswoggle? Bullcrap. The PPV should be OK, at least the 2 ladder matches and WWE title match should be awesome (and it's free to air in the UK). But tonight was just AWFUL for the following reasons - I personally don't like the AJ/Bryan/Punk triangle. I know a lot of people do, but I hate it, I just want Bryan/Punk in a grudge feud for the title. Oh well. - Not enough wrestling tonight, the Cena/Kane/Y2J/Show tag wasn't very good and the ending blew. As did the main event tag, but the SD MITB tag could have been pretty awesome if it were given 10 minutes. But instead we get - Shitty  ing skits involving Santino, a Cole/King "match" and Hornswoggle. this shit. I'm genuinely going to give TNA a try this week and maybe just read about RAW next week, and just watch MITB/1000 and see if they can pull their finger out. There was neigh-on nothing enjoyable about Raw tonight |

You would think they would want to give great shows leading up to the 1000th show, so we all don't want to FF through it all. The first 20 minutes and ending were good. Love the triangle storyline. Other than that MEH. I think they are saving all their returns for the 1000th show which is stupid.

If you dont like the show then don't watch it. the hate is allowed to be here as much as the praise dude can;t tell them not to post or anything.. Yeah it is... but why do people watch it every week if they don't enjoy it? It makes no sense to me, especially when it's alot of the same people every week. Then they go onto say they'll give up on watching WWE... but are back here the next week bitching about Raw. It's the same stuff here all the time, the people who enjoy the shows, and want to come here to discuss them get bored of seeing it every week. |

Punk, Bryan, and AJ held that show together, and even they couldn't save it from being a total disaster.
Garbage. Pure, and absolute garbage, and quite frankly, that's putting it nicely.
As horrible as things were with Laurinaitis stinking up the arena on a weekly basis, it's only gotten worse.
Everything felt off tonight. The matches were rushed, the overarching storyline of the anonymous Raw GM did absolutely nothing to help the show, or progress any angles. In fact, it took time away from them. A two minute tag match with no entrances? What's the point? And that's just the beginning.
First of all, Kane and John Cena on the same team? Need I say more?
What the HELL was that finish to the tag match? They rang the bell because Big Show pulled Cena out of the ring? Are you kidding me? Just because TNA used to be notorious for changing the basic concrete rules of a wrestling match, doesn't mean WWE has to start doing it too. Awful.
The anonymous general manager crap was hideous. Not only did they bring back one of the most overplayed, annoying, and senseless angles in Raw history, they made it even worse by turning the whole thing into one giant joke. I suppose it's fitting in the end, seeing as how that's exactly what the overwhelming majority of the show was.
Also, was there absolutely no attempt made to mask the fact that they were reading from a script? Cole kept looking down at a piece of paper, not the screen. The screen wasn't even on when Josh was reading, it was a god damned screen saver. Seriously? That couldn't have been thought out ahead of time?
Closing segment was fine. I'm excited about Punk/Bryan, and I like AJ's involvement. That is the only positive remark I have to give.
It's like the show was literally booked ten minutes before airtime. A piss poor excuse for WWE programming. And they're going to three hours in two weeks. Fantastic.
I usually try to see the best in whatever is going on, and rarely am I this negative, but there was just no excuse for tonight.

Oh, I will add one more positive thought...
I really liked the backstage segment between Punk and Eve. I like Eve as a heel, I think she plays the role fantastically. I loved the fact that she pointed out that Punk's reign as Champion, however long, has been completely overshadowed by other stars. Punk's reaction almost seemed to suggest that he hadn't thought much of it before.
I'm likely reading too much into that, but it would be great for that to start eating away at Punk and have some aggression really start to come out in his character, especially if they start heading in the direction of Punk/Cena, that way we can get some snappy, aggressive promos out of the two of them.
