The best toy any fast food chain has ever had was McDonalds with the first BTSA line. That Batman is hands down the best kids meal toy ever. I've carried one in my pocket every day since it was first rleased. He's held together now with crazy glue, masking tape and his arms still fall off. lol How it looks now -

I used to love getting the McDonald's toys. Now these days the toy is not worth getting the happy meal for it.

The most recent ones that were really awesome were the BATB Batman figurines they released sometime last year. I haven't collected an entire series of Happy Meal figures in a long time, but those were just so awesome I couldn't pass them up. But the ones they had when I was a kid were the best, like the food containers that changed into robots. Those stand out the most to me. There was also a Disney animated movie series where the figures came in plastic boxes that looked like little VHS cases and you could connect all of figures inside to form a train. And of course the Batman TAS series was great too, I even collected the Happy Meal boxes from that series because you could put them together to make something kind of like a playset for them.

I have the complete Inspector Gadget that you got the parts each time. I never got the right squirt gun arm until I was at a yard sale 11 years ago. I will never get rid of it.

This might be the best thread ever! That Taz flash figure is great from the superhero/looney toons mashup...also the Masters of the Universe series, might be the best fast food toy line in history...I have He-Man and Battlecat on my desk to this day

I still have my Pull Back n' Go McDonaldland character cars from the mid 80's. I might also have some Stompers too. The Batman Returns toys were so awesome, alas, I have none. I'll see if I can find some pics of the McDonaldland cars on Google (I have mine in my mom's hope chest at her house). imageshack.us/photo/my-images/16/img1489gj.jpg/sr=1

Years ago well into the early 80s many of the McDonald's toys were regional toys from certain areas such as St. Louis Missouri. I Used to have a book about McDonald's collectibles and many of the early ones were either tests or regional

Used to have all the McNugget toys. They were basically nuggets dressed up in costumes. We would set them up on the couch and shoot them with dart guns.
