Some interesting questions. Mattel will do a good job, imo.

IMO, this chat doesn't do much for me; they're basically telling us what we want to hear (no offense Mattel). I'm gonna wait till January 1st to see for myself.

Not to steal a quote from a famous wwe superstar but i have submitted so many questions and i know not all can be asked but the BOTTOM LINE IS CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE YOU GUYS MAKING PRODUCTS THAT WE ASK FOR AND NOT JUST PUT OUT A PRODUCT FOR THE SAKE OF MAKING A PRODUCT TO FILL A QUOTER OR A CONTRACT I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT HAS BEEN DONE IN THE PAST AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHO SAID SO!!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap. Didn't it say to only write in questions with good grammar? Way to give a positive impression of this community. Anyway, it sounds like they have good intentions. And reading that the people who will be working on the line will be wrestling fans is great, that should mean correct bios, and proper spelling on names.

Oh man... I feel SO bad I missed out on the chat last night!! My comp was having some problems and I was pretty mad about not being able to be on. Well, I read the transcript and love the answers Mattel gave. Very nice to hear those positive things from them.

Wow. I was very happy to see this. I was disappointed about Mattel getting it at first, but if they're promising they'll be better than their new DC figures, I may have something to look forward to. I'm a popular wrestling animator on YouTube and I would love to express what I'd like to see in the future. Jakks already used 3 of the ideas I mentioned in that survey they had. I'd love to have more play sets, it helps me with my show. It makes it look even more real and I'd love to be connected to a company to help them give us what we want. They need to make more entrances and backstage sets and bring back those weapon packs! Also, we need real clothing for the wrestlers, it makes it more realistic. Also, I'd love it if Mattel didn't stick random non-wrestling weapons in series like a laptop....or a barbell. Also, please don't make weapons 3x the size of the guy's hand and don't give us stupid accessories constantly. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't give us weapons that we'd never ever see on wrestling. Even interchangeable outfits would be sweet, like that exclusive Hogan figure. Maybe make all rings official scale and with real fabric rather than those cheap plastic rings. I hope you do well with this line because I'd love to turn my show into a career. It grows in popularity each and everyday and soon I will have over 2,000 fans. Anything I can do to help improve the wrestling line and help decide what we need is my main goal. Please listen to the fans like you're starting too! Make more surveys like this where we can express our ideas, it helps! Thank you! My site: www.freewebs.com/mbg1211My Youtube: www.youtube.com/mbg1211- mbg1211

Am I the only one who was a little worried by this: ? No...why be worried? Jakks does that now. Build N Brawl Deluxe Aggression Ruthless Aggression Micro Aggression Maximum Aggression Ring Giants They are ALL in different scales. I'm sure Mattel will experiment with figures of all different sizes. I wish they WOULDN'T and just concentrate on a main 6 or 7 inch line....but I'm sure lots of people will by figures that are 1, 3, and 12 inches too so obviously Mattel will make them if they think they will sell.

Very professional and comforting conversation. I for one would love to be a volunteer "figure expert". I've collected for over 16 years and I'm a sucker for details

I'm not worry about the scale... it's the level of detail that scares me. Jakks has never been good with small, unimportant details, such as PAINTING THE BACKSIDES OF THEIR FIGURES.

I'm not worry about the scale... it's the level of detail that scares me. Jakks has never been good with small, unimportant details, such as PAINTING THE BACKSIDES OF THEIR FIGURES. That's really not fair. Jakks has had some issues with that, obviously, but over all they've been isolated and they really have done much better for quite a while now. The price has often been simplified designs, which people also whine about, but will be a reality with Mattel as well. All of the folks with a chip on their shoulder with Jakks are unlikely to be pleased with Mattel because no matter what the line will still be produced as a mass market line with the corners cut that come with that. In fairness, though, what we'll see is Mattel make some improvements and make some things worse. If we're lucky, it'll be like the transition to Hasbro for Marvel Legends where the sculpting remained consistent, articultation got a little worse though playability improved noticably, and paint application nose-dived. I don't think paint will get worse, though, so we'll probably see a very status quo development. Which won't please the "Jakks sucks" crowd but it still the best we can hope for and honestly nothing that bad.

I got that impression too as I read the transcript. I hope there is truth to those answers. It is in Mattel's best interest to keep the collectors happy and try to maintain a successful design.

I am sick of seeing JAKKS mess up the new LJNs. It's like they cannot get a set of legs right. Why does Flair's legs look like 2 Oscar Mayer Weiners?
I read the Mattel Chat Transcript and was sad to see that nobody asked them if they would correct the scale problem of the new LJNs. If these are supposed to be "Chase Figures", then that means that they should fit in with the original LJN line. Well these don't. They are 2 inches shorter and actually fit in perfectly with the OSFTM WCW line. If you want to recreate WM 18, put your Jakks LJN Rock in front of your OSFTM Hollywood Hogan and they are in perfect scale.
Someone needs to ask Mattel if they will make the LJN's in 8 inch scale. They can even redo the stars that have already been made so far, in different attire but in perfect scale.
Come on Mattel, make us old school collectors happy and fix the LJN Chase Figure scale.

I was to busy during the chat, But I see he said they are going to have similiar articulation to the DC Universe figures. I'm glad to hear that.
