I can't understand why people here are so excited and desperate about his figures , Mattel gave us so many figures of this guy and IMO he has never been such a good wrestler.
On the other hand , we barely get figures of more recent superstars such as Santino Marella , Chris Jericho , Jack Swagger , Zack Ryder and Wade Barrett.
I would also love to see figures for Jerry Lawler , Johnny Ace , Kharma , Tenshai, 2012 masked Kane and Ryback.

its funny a majority of the members on Wfigs want MORE legends/flashbacks the other half wants LESS legends/flashbacks MORE current talent YET, whatever we receive people will whine and complain and stir the pot regardless.

Because Warrior still has more Fans than Santino and Wade, If it sells then Be Damned sure Mattel will keep making it

I'm not sure about fans. It's just that he had so many colourful attire/ facepaint colours which made his figures look bright and attractive to collect.
He had a great look and was charismatic, that's for sure.

It's because THIS man regardless of how rigid he was in the ring, how poor of a businessman he was, or how short his "in ring" career was, he is the ULTIMATE WARRIOR. The man's charisma has maintained his longevity. In three years, the wrestling world won't even remember guys like Wade Barrett. You mentioned a few current superstars, then Johnny Ace. Tell me, if John Laurinaitis wasn't on camera each week, would you even know who Ace was? Without Googling, tell me who his tag team partner was? Name three things they carried to the ring each week. Who was their manager? What was their theme music? Where did Johnny go on to wrestle afterwards? What about his partner? If you ignore the past of wrestling, you can't really, truly appreciate the present. THAT'S why people want characters like the Warrior.

You said it brother, new younger Fans missed every thing that WAS the Big Boom of wrestling. They dont understand without this guy and others there would not be a huge fan base for most of the weak guys he just named. And if you are not young then you have no idea what makes a great wrestler.

Santino is funny but can not be taken seriously, and whats more he is one of the few who is talented in wwe right now, maybe the only. Zack is ok but gets old in to much doses thats why they limit his camera time. he misses great timing. Lawler will get made and he is one of my most wanted right now.

It's simple. Ultimate Warrior makes for a good action figure (kinda like Jeff Hardy). He looks cool. And when he was around, he made a huge impact. Fans loved him. Go back and watch his old matches and listen to the pops.
Even though he wasn't a great wrestler, he was very entertaining.

Ultimate Warrior's career hit like a comet, and burnt out just at quick, but left a huge impact on the wrestling industry. He is the kind of guy that if WWE decided to give him another shot the wrestling community would go berzerk and TNA should s*it their pants. If he were to be inducted into the HOF the fans would go nuts. If he were to show up on Monday Night RAW the crowd pop would set a Guiness record. You get the picture.
Outside of the ring, yes, we was hard to work with, and had no business sense. However, fans can't deny the energy the UW brought to every event. His in ring persona was the total package. Take the power of Ryback, with the charisma of Cena, and the colorful attires of Rey Mysterio and combine them into one Superstar... you'd have the Ultimate Warrior
Now that us kids that grew up with him are now grown up, have money, and make up a good percentage of the purchasing power in this country it is the perfect opportunity for Mattel to capitalize on our childhoods by making figures of him. It is the same reason why older movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street are getting remade. Case in point, the marketing idustry is double dipping, first with our parents wallets, and now in ours. Not a bad thing BTW. Don't forget, those of us who watch UM came from the marketing age, and therefore we are a mucher easier sell in these areas.
NTM, UM makes for a great figure. Even little kids who have no clue who he is could appeal to a little kid since it is so colorful. Parents who don't collect might even be more inclined to tell their little ones to get him since they remember him.
UW was our Rey Mysterio (granted we wasn't as over produced) with all the colored attires. Difference between him and Rey is that even though Rey wrestled longer, and is a much better wrestler it is easily debatable that Rey wasn't and possibly isn't the Main Eventer Ultimate Warrior was. In fact it is even debatable to say that UW was perhaps too popular and this is why his career was so short.

The Miz can wrestle into his 50s and will not make the impact that Ultimate Warrior did from 1988-1992

The next plane you're on will be nose dived to hell by the power of the Ultimate Warrior.

I'm not a big warrior fan but I would rather see a warrior figure than any current wrestler on the roster.

Fans these days don't care for WWEs history which is a great shame.

Warrior has a very small fan base these days idk what you fanboys are talking about. He wouldn't get a huge pop, wouldnt sell out arenas, and certainly wouldn't help tna at all. And to say he has all this charisma?? He never cut promos! He never spoke! And if you mean in ring charimsa he wasn't better than anyone else back then.
As far the rediculous amount of figures that he's had, I believe its because of some kinda independant contract he has with mattel. But it makes no sence why we see all these warriors and not nearly as many HBKs and Brets and other superstaars who were just as popular as that buffoon.

Its funny everywhere I find WM Heritage figures, Warrior and Eddie are the only 2 out of the set that I cant find. While current superstars are still hanging on the pegs, the 'old guys' cant be found. As for Warrior, this is only figure that he has had that wasnt a "Legend" or legend related IE: Defining Moments. So I dont really think he is hogging up much space in the current Mattel retail line.

.... Yep, never spoke. That's why there is an entire segment on his DVD about him "not talking". You know, the segment that has WWE superstars imitating and quoting him. Oh wait, how could they be quoting him if he never spoke or cut promos? If he didn't talk and didn't have any in-ring charisma, how the hell did he get so over? And don't say just because of his look, because other tried and failed to get over based on looks alone.

I completely disagree about wrestling ability. All are more than solid in the ring. But I agree that UW had much more of an impact and makes for a great toy which equals great profits.
