I don't understand what everyone is all pissed off about. The majority of the people here CONSTANTLY bitched about Jakks. Can we at least wait until we the WWE Mattel figures are released before we start bitching? We still have two more years of Jakks anyway, and after that they will be making TNA figures. I guarantee you that we will see RA and DA TNA figs, maybe even BNB and all the other minor lines that they have out now. There is no way Jakks would immediately sign another wrestling promotion to start from square one with their figures. I agree with your wait and see stance on things. As far as Jakks starting at square one, that may be out of Jakks hands. Molds/Scans they created while working for WWE would most likely be property of WWE, and if Jakks attempted to use molds created for the WWE on TNA figures WWE would probably get a bit litigious (depending on what the Jakks/WWE contract is like. Jakks options are probably starting from scratch or TNA supplying them with the Toybiz molds to build off of. They may go with something close to RA/DA but it would probably have to be all new sculpts. It would be like 20th Century Fox hiring Stan Winston to create the Predator costume then Stan Winston turning around and using the Predator suit in a Universal film.

It's all about POA for me & as long as Mattel make WWE figs so they can kick their legs out sideways i.e. DA style, then I'll be happy.
But if they are gonna keep that POA just above the knee on their WWE figs that they have on their DC line, it needs to be moved higher up on the legs of the WWE figs nearer to the top of the thigh like DA's currently, although, if they did keep that POA above the knee, could work well for doing Figure Four Leg-Locks & Ankle Locks with the figs.

Thanks for posting the comparison pics. I agree with the wait and see approach, but I do hope they start out of the gate with Jakks scaled figures with DA articulation.

The Horsemen have stated in past interviews they put the swivel cut above the knee, because they don't use a ball-jointed hip. They use their T-crotch (RA) with a sideway hing design. So they put it there so it doesn't mess with the sculpt of the thigh muscles when posed in different poses. This way it looks good in vanilla poses or action poses -

IF the scaling is close than most people buying these figs will just fade out the RA style figs like we all did w/ the TTL figs, or at least that is what I did. I jsut hope they put out more series a year than they did w/ the TNA line. They had what, like 3 singles series and 2 double packs a year. I mean, I want quality, but not if I have to wait forever to get a single fig. Take it, the pace Jakks is doing now is killing me finacially so maybe a toning down in product might help some. I just hope they don't look like cartoons myself and I hope they don't put Cena/Batista/Rey/etc. in every series like Jakks is beginning to do.

Why does everyone keep saying cartoons? Mattel has other properties that aren't cartoon based. And the Four Horsemen can sculpt humans/real people as well. They did some of the Harry Potter figures for Mattel and are working on the"6" Movie Masters line" for Mattel as well. Here's pics of the Bale Batman & Ledger Joker from the Movie Masters line - www.pointsofarticulation.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4205&sid=8e9665708d197a3078473fa3213e5c35Personally I think they both look like Bale and Heath. So if Mattel lets the Horsmen work on the WWE line I think they'll have some fantastic figures.

The scale looks very close to the figs Jakks made. Mattel does put more deatil into their figures. I think I am starting to have second thoughts about them making WWE figs. same here, and hey, whose to say that mattel won't improve their figs within the next 2 years

it looks like RA legs, DA troso, and TTl arms... if the WWE figs will be like that, it will suck...

They're close with RA (see page 1).. Mattel uses a 6 inch scale for the DCSH.

I want that Batman It's by far the Best 6" Batman figure released to date. It's part of the DC Univers Classics series 1. They are selling them at TRU, Target and online stores such as Bigbadtoystore.com or Cornerstorecomics.com the Etrigan the Demon on the first page is part of series 1. Here's all of series 1 -

For those asking why we're bitching about the move to mattel: Yes, we constantly gripe about JAKKS' figure quality and all we wanted was for JAKKS to improve. Moving to an entirely different company is a totally different story. For people like me who have a massive collection this is collector hell. I have no desire to restart my collection with an entirely different look to the figures. But since we don't know what they're gonna look like it's all pure speculation. Fact of the matter is that they won't be RA/DA figures anymore so regardless they're gonna look very very different to what we have

I don't see it as a collectors hell. But I've been around since the start of wrestling figures. Up until the Benoit tragedy I had Display shelves with Jakks CS...displays with Hasbros, shelves with Galoobs, displays with ToyBiz WCW. Since then I've pretty much lost intrest in wresting and just have the Classics displayed now with a few RA guys. But other collections I have (DC comics, Marvel Legends & Star Trek) I have different shelves on the walls filled with figures from all different companies that have produced them in the past. My Hasbro DC figures are on one set of Shleves, My Mattel figures on other shelves, ML on another and Playmates & AA Classic Star Trek figures on their own shelves. So to me it's not a problem for collectors who display their figures as there is a very simple salution to it... it sounds more like it's a problem for the people who still play with their figures.

Not too terribly bad. I will wait to make my final opinion when I see the product. A lot can change between now and then.
