Who remembers anything about their first ever live event? Back when WWE was the WWF. When WCW existed, or even the NWA...
Mine was a house show in Wilton, CT, at the Wilton High School Fieldhouse, August 15th, 1993. I was a month away from my 13th birthday. My dad took me. The card was as follows...
Virgil d. Damien Demento Men On a Mission d. Well Dunn Hacksaw Jim Duggan d. Iron Mike Sharpe (subbing for a returned-to-WCW star, Terry Taylor) Razor Ramon d. Mr. Hughes Bob Backlund d. Bastion Booger Steiner Bros. d. The Quebecers
- I was pissed at first that Terry Taylor didn't show, since he was a favorite, but I enjoyed the rare opportunity to see a jobber live (and yes, Mike Sharpe really is that loud during a match).
- I got to slap hands with Hacksaw over the rail, which was the first time that ever happened to me. It wouldn't happen again until 2000 at an ECW show with RVD.
- We were all baffled that the advertised main event went on after intermission. I also found it a thrill to have Hughes stare me down after he lost the match, as I gave him a big thumbs-down (I was too young and shy to flip the bird...lol).
- My dad bought me a WWF baseball cap (Blue with a yellow/green neon logo), which I still have today.
- I didn't quite get the operation of television tapings, and I found it fascinating that after watching the Steiners on WWF Wrestling Challenge at noon that day, I was watching them live, hours later.
I would attend 20 live shows total over the next 20 years, WWF/E, ECW and Indies. But I'll always treasure that first one, due to the fascination and innocence I had. Thanks for letting me share, and feel free to share yours.

Sadly mine was around the time the WWF became the WWE. The main event was a cage match between Undertaker and RVD vs. Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. I have only been to 5 shows but Eddie was the main event at 2 of them and for that I feel blessed and grateful.

WCW/NWA was in 1994 I believe. Cant remember much about the card but the main event was Sting, Flair, Anderson vs Austin, Pillman, Regal (subbing for Windham). Was a CLASSIC match.
WWF was in 1997. It was basically the EXACT same card and finishes that happened a few days later on Raw. There was a Sunny-Marlena arm wrestling match and I think Taker vs Farooq cage match.
I also went to numerous Smokey Mountain Wrestling matches. Pretty much if it was in town, which it was just about every week, I went.

Went online and found a site that has a TON of results from House Shows. I have been to several over the years, but those 3 stand out in my mind for some reason.
Another show I remember being at had a bunch of WWF guys. I remember Nailz, Hawk, Jim Neidhart, and The Berzerker being there, but that's all I clearly remember seeing. It was kind of cool because my dad and I were sitting on bleachers and you could look down behind them and see all of the wrestlers in some sort of a hallway/dressing room area just wearing their regular clothes and being out of character. Maybe The British Bulldog was also at that show??? Not sure...
I also have this VIVID memory of seeing Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair wrestle at a house show while both were in the WWF, but I am not 100% certain if that memory actually happened, or if it was a dream. I wish so bad that I could find out if it was real. My gut tells me it was, but I just can't be certain.

September 2, 2001 – WWF – Halifax, Nova Scotia WCW World Cruiserweight and WWF World Light-Heavyweight Champion, X-Pac, b Spike Dudley Christian b Justin Credible Hurricane Helms and Ivory b Matt Hardy and Lita Raven b Perry Saturn Albert b Chuck Palumbo Kurt Angle b Rhyno Intercontinental Champion, Edge, b Lance Storm; WCW United States Champion, Chris Kanyon, b Jeff Hardy Chris Jericho b Hardcore Champion, Rob Van Dam The Undertaker and The Acolytes b Test and The Dudley Boyz.

LIVE FROM THE PEORIA CIVIC CENTER!
1 Justin Bradshaw defeated Bob Holly 2 Duke Droese and Aldo Montoya defeated Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy 3 Savio Vega defeated Owen Hart 4 Jake Roberts defeated Steve Austin 5 Marc Mero defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley 6 Ahmed Johnson defeated Davey Boy Smith 7 WWF Tag Team Titles Match The Godwinns (Henry O. Godwinn and Phineas I. Godwinn) defeated Smoking Gunns (Bart Gunn and Billy Gunn) (c) by countout 8 The Undertaker defeated Mankind 9 Ultimate Warrior defeated Vader 10 WWF World Heavyweight Title Match Shawn Michaels (c) defeated Goldust
I remember Owen losing and being pissed, the Taker vs Mankind match because they wrestled through the crowd, and then the main event, which was a champion vs champion thing. I wish I had this on VHS or DVD. I've been to probably 50 events since then so I've forgotten more than I remember at this point.

For some reason I thought it would be exactly the same as the TV show . I remember having no idea who was coming out when Molly Hollys music was playing and Jericho and Christian wrestled the triple threat pretty much throughout while Edge would occasionally get knocked off the apron. WWE (Raw) @ London, England - Wembley Arena - October 8, 2004 Tajiri & Rhyno defeated the Hurricane & Rosey after Rhyno hit the Gore on Rosey; Hurricane & Rosey played the heels for the bout; Stacy Keibler was the guest ring announcer for the match Shelton Benjamin pinned Val Venis with the Exploder suplex Maven & Nidia defeated Chuck Palumbo & Molly Holly Gene Snitsky defeated Kane via disqualification when Kane brought a chair into the ring after hitting the chokeslam on Snitsky and ended up shoving the referee to the mat WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Sylvian Grenier & Rob Conway defeated William Regal & Eugene when Regal was pinned after being hit with one of the French flags; Jonathan Coachman was the guest referee for the bout WWE IC Champion Chris Jericho defeated Edge and Christian when Christian submitted to the Walls of Jericho; earlier in the bout, Tyson Tomko - who was in Christian's corner - was sent backstage WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus pinned Victoria with her feet on the ropes Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, & Shawn Michaels defeated World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, Ric Flair, & Batista when Orton pinned Batista with the RKO
I remember waiting ages to go into the actual arena and sitting on the top of the chair for a better view. Spike kept coming back into the battle royal and eventually the ref ran him to the back by his beard. The speakers stopped working for Cenas entrance music which i found hilarious. WWE (Smackdown!) @ London, England - Excell Convention Centre - April 22, 2005 (8,000; sell out) Rene Dupree pinned Mark Jindrak with an elbow drop after hitting a Snake Eyes WWE Cruiserweight Champion Paul London won a cruiserweight title battle royal by last eliminating Billy Kidman; other participants included: Shannon Moore, Akio, Nunzio, Sho Funaki, Chavo Guerrero Jr., and Spike Dudley; the final three in the ring were London, Kidman, and Chavo Torrie Wilson pinned Dawn Marie with a DDT; late in the match, guest referee Jackie Gayda turned on Torrie, with guest ring announcer Joy Giovanni eventually counting the pinfall Doug & Danny Basham defeated Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas when Holly was pinned after the Bashams switched places in the ring Booker T pinned John Heidenreich with the scissors kick WWE World Champion John Cena & the Big Show defeated John Bradshaw Layfield & WWE US Champion Orlando Jordan after Cena hit the FU on JBL and Show hit the chokeslam on Jordan WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Champions Johnny Nitro & Joey Mercury defeated Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio Jr. when Mysterio was pinned after sustaining the elevated DDT double team while Melina distracted Guerrero Carlito Caribbean Cool pinned Scotty 2 Hotty with a roll up and putting his feet on the ropes for leverage The Undertaker pinned Kurt Angle with the tombstone

My first show is pretty bittersweet. I live in Canada, so there was this WWE House show at London Ontario, at the London Gardens. Being that I live an hour from that city, my dad and I went to the show. This is the card that I saw that night.
WWF @ London, Ontario - London Gardens - November 26, 1994 Duke Drose defeated the Brooklyn Brawler Bob Holly fought the 1-2-3 Kid to a draw The Smoking Gunns defeated the Heavenly Bodies WWF Women's Champion Bull Nakano defeated Alundra Blayze Jim Neidhart defeated Doink the Clown Owen Hart defeated Adam Bomb Lex Luger defeated Tatanka
Not bad. But here's the kicker. At the same time, there was a show going on in New York at MSG. And this was the show.
WWF @ New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden - November 26, 1994 (7,300) The Bushwhackers defeated Well Dunn Aldo Montoya pinned Kwang The New Headshrinkers defeated the Executioners (sub. for Shawn Michaels & Diesel) following Fatu's splash off the top rope Davey Boy Smith fought King Kong Bundy to a double count-out Action Zone - 11/27/94: Diesel (sub. for Bret Hart) pinned WWF World Champion Bob Backlund to win the title following a boot to the midsection and a powerbomb after a matter of seconds; Diesel's involvement in the match was not announced until WWF Superstars aired that morning; it was announced on local TV during the Nov. 5-6 weekend that Randy Savage would be the guest referee for the originally scheduled Hart/Backlund match but that announcement was never mentioned again WWF IC Champion Razor Ramon pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Razor's Edge; Jarrett had originally won the match via count-out but demanded the match continue so he would win the title Mabel pinned Quebecar Pierre The Undertaker pinned IRS
So where I got to see Lex Luger beat Tatanka in London, the New York fans got to see Diesel beat Bob Backlund for the WWE Title!!! Not cool. And being that I was a huge Diesel fan, it would have been so cool to see it happen live.

Benjamin and Jericho stole the show. Was a good show.

My first wrestling show was a Jim Crockett Promotions house show in Huntington, West Virgina. It was in August of 1987 and I was 7 years old. I found it on the website linked above, but the only match listed was the Rock and Roll Express vs. The Midnight Express. I do vaguely remember that match. I also remember the main event was Ric Flair vs. Jimmy Garvin for the NWA title. I can't recall any of the other matches, but I do remember seeing Ronnie Garvin, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, and Nikita Koloff on the card as well.

My first show was the last Raw in Philly right before SummerSlam in 1998. Sadly the only things I can remember about the entire show are a giant Blow up Stone Cold and Undertaker being outside the arena and a SICK video package for SummerSlam that had Highway To Hell by AC/DC playing (Pretty sure that was the theme for the PPV).
