Love this guy. Great manager, great mind for the business, excellent on commentary. I rank him up there with The Brain.
To keep this thread going, name your favorite Jim related moments

The "Thats my opinion" vignettes he shot in 97, giving his unbiased opinion on the current state of wrestling at that time was refreshing. My favourite line was
"Hulk Hogan is a household name, but then so is garbage, and that stinks when it gets old too!

My favourite Jim Cornette moment is when he tries to order hamburgers from a fast food joint while intoxicated.

I don't have a favourite moment per `se, am just a big fan of the guy, and like what he's doing with ROH.

I'm in the middle with Jim Cornette. I think he has a great mind for the business, and he is funny as hell, but he just holds grudges against everyone. Of all the shoots I've seen with him, i've never seen him say "Yeah, he was a great guy." He hates everyone and everyone has screwed him over apparently. At times he seems like a whiney 8 year old.

I can understand where you're coming from there. I agree..... as a person, I'm not sure he and I would get along. For one reason, I hate his language. It's not that I never cuss but geeze, it's his entire vocabulary. However, as a wrestling personality, he's great.

Excellent mind for the business. I could listen to this guy talk for hours. I'd love it if he would write some more books.
Favorite moment- So many to choose from. When he bled on his white coat after getting bashed in the head by Paul Heyman & his phone. When he threw a huge fireball in Ron Garvin's face. His promos, one liners and the ability to rile up the people in attendance.

When he talks about teaching Glenn Jacobs how to do Diesel's moveset.
All five moves.

My favourite Jim Cornette moment is when he tries to order hamburgers from a fast food joint while intoxicated. He wasn't intoxicated, just pissed off. Anyway, my favorite was during an old episode of Wrestling Observer Live, when he answered a fan question of whom would he save if he was the only survivor of a canoe capsize, with all his enemies (He had to rescue one, hypothetically). He claimed it'd be Vince Russo, for the simple fact that drowning would be too easy, and he'd rather kill him without witnesses.

Been my second favorite manager (behind Heenan) since I was a kid. I LOVED him & The Midnight Express (Lane & Eaton). To me they were the definition of Tag Team wrestling.

He did a YouShoot interview where they play the clip and he talks about it. He said everyone's order was a special (Jericho was on a diet and wanted a banana split without ice cream or something like that) and because everything was so screw with the order they decided not to make it. The funny part is that one of the wrestlers had a camera ready to capture it. I liked Cornete as long as he was away from WWF/E. The stuff he did for TNA (the one liners he had for the beautiful people) and ROH (his recent back and forths with Steen) ad a bit of humor missing in authority figures.

I used to like him. He's so over dramatic and annoying in roh. Lost his luster for me.

I liked him as a manager and like how he isn't afraid to tell how he truely feels in shoots. I always hated though how in 1995 and 1996 him and the stars he managed usually were made to look weak against guys like Diesel and HBK. Bulldog or Vader definatly should have had a run w/ the world title while managed by Jim.
