I've recently gotten back into Marvel and it seems like I picked a good time because they're just releasing Season One books which are basically a modern retelling of classic origin stories of popular Marvel heroes. So far I've collected and read X-Men, Fantastic Four and Daredevil so far, I still need to get Spider-Man. And what's really awesome is that there are even more coming out in the next couple of months. Ant-Man, Dr. Strange and Hulk. I intend on getting those three as well and I seriously hope this series continues because I would love to get Season One's for Captain America, Silver Surfer, Thor, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Sub-Mariner and Black Panther. If anyone has any info on these and if they know of anyu confirmed up coming releases that would be great, but I hope I also helped out those that are looking to get into Marvel too because I think these are great to start off with.

hadn't heard of it, but i imagine i've already read the majority of the classic stories so i'm not too entranced by this.

Well I'd imagine veteran readers wouldn't be too interested in these unless they wanted to read modern retellings of classic origins. But this was just to let newcomers know that these are a good place to start so they don't feel so overwhelmed.

Apparently the artwork is amazing and worth the price of purchase. I haven't seen it though.

They aren't bad. But I have read most origin stories so many times over the years, that reading a lot of them again would be almost painful. Great idea for new fans though.
