* SmackDown opens with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus called out Daniel Bryan for a match. Sheamus beats Bryan by DQ when #1 contender Alberto Del Rio interfered. Bryan and Del Rio have words after the match.
* Trainers come out and check on Sheamus after he takes an armbar from Del Rio.
* WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated Hunico and Camacho. Abraham Washington, Rosa Mendes, Epico and Primo came out to watch the match from the stage.
* Brodus Clay defeats Jack Swagger by DQ after interference from Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler takes a big headbutt from Clay but they beat him down. Clay cleans house and chases them and Vickie Guerrero off.
* Randy Orton and Big Show vs. Kane and Cody Rhodes is announced for later tonight.
* Backstage segment with Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio arguing about getting a title shot at Sheamus. Eve Torres appears and says she has to check with the doctors to see if Sheamus is able to compete.
* Damien Sandow vs. Derrick Bateman is up next. Sandow cuts a heel promo against the crowd and Bateman. He refuses to wrestle Bateman and walks out.
* Ryback comes out as the replacement and squashes Bateman.
* Randy Orton and Big Show beat Kane and Cody Rhodes. Show hit the WMD on Cody for the win.
* They re-tape Brodus Clay vs. Jack Swagger with Clay winning by count out.
* Layla defeated Natalya in a non-title match.
* Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio. He comes out to watch the main event of Bryan vs. Sheamus in the rematch from earlier, made by Eve. Sheamus comes out with his shoulder bandaged up. Sheamus beat Bryan with the Brogue Kick. Del Rio also interfered in this match.

Sheamus vs. ADR vs. Christian at Over The Limit... I'm going to predict that right now.
Either that, or Bryan beats Sheamus and Punk in the same night to become the newest Undisputed World Champ. (In which Jericho could fued with him since they both were Undisputed Champs)

Sheamus vs. ADR vs. Christian at Over The Limit... I'm going to predict that right now. Either that, or Bryan beats Sheamus and Punk in the same night to become the newest Undisputed World Champ. (In which Jericho could fued with him since they both were Undisputed Champs) Love that second idea, but doubt that'll happen. Jericho is leaving anyways. |

Im sorry but Bryan still going after the WHC makes zero sense. Especially losing to an injured Sheamus. Really, really poor booking. I'm still confused about that, but I think ADR interfered which resulted in Bryan losing. It says they were arguing in the first segment. |

Somebody got that wrong, Daniel Bryan was saying he knew he could beat Sheamus and had him during the first match until Del Rio interfered. And that Bryan wanted a re-match for later tonight against Sheamus because he knew he was "faking" the arm injury. Eve said she wouldn't do that until she talked with the doctors. |

That sounds a little better. I dont think the #1 Contender should be losing, or chasing other titles. Yeah, once I read that I was like, what? Bryan said during the promo that Del Rio was looking at the #1 contender for Punk's WWE Championship. Also on a more positive note, this is the same arena that half of the arena itself was tarped off last september for a taping of SmackDown! Last night both sides were pretty much all full, and it wouldn't shock me if it was sold out. |

Agreed about Bryan.
He should have just cut a promo that he was going to win the WWE title at OTL and maybe had a match with someone like Tyson Kidd to give him a win.
I wish Layla/Natalya was given more time I read it was short like most diva matches. Sad because I think they can have a good match. Their Bragging Rights 2010 title match was pretty good at least and I think Layla is better now than then.
Cody losing to Show again sucks. I can't wait til Rhodes and Show are done feuding. Cody needs to face someone who is actually exciting...

Is it really crazy to let Cody win a match?
Why would they have Sheamus beat Bryan?
Why do they re-tape matches...doesn't that just piss off the live crowd?
I miss the days when heels would actually dominate a show to further feuds. Now we're lucky when a heel wins one match in a feud. Don't the "writers" remember how to make interesting stories not just "Heel attacks face, face wins every match"

It just seems more and more to me now, that Bryan really wasn't originally intended to win Beat the Clock on Monday. It seems like there genuinely was a screw up in Jericho vs. Big Show, and instead of trying to get Jericho into the spot, they went and gave the nod to Bryan for the match. The booking just doesn't come of like it was done with the mindset that Bryan was going to be going after the WWE Title.

I'm really tired of Sheamus, Show, Randy, and Brodus winning, and Cody keep losing. It's like of it's mandatory now for Sheamus to end Smackdown standing over Bryan or whoever. Raw is my favorite now.

Although we must know... Was Kaitlyn with him? I heard AJ hit her again or something in a backstage segment.
