So I just re-watched the Brian Pillman set that WWE put out a few years ago and then started watching some promos on youtube and dailymotion and thought it inspired me to start a thread talking about what everyone's favorite Pillman moments are.
I loved his ECW debut promo in 96, I loved the whole Loose Cannon gimmick. I think he deserves a HOF induction.

I loved everything about his Loose Cannon character.
Honestly, there was a short period of time in 1997 when Brian Pillman was my FAVORITE superstar.
I'll always remember the night on Raw where he got The Hart Foundation together and prayed. I think Owen ended up winning the IC title from Rocky that night or something.

Pillman's gotta be one of the most under rated guys ever.
His run in 97 with the Harts is so memorable to me, he was funny, and in an amazing fued with Austin.
In the middle of the 10 man tag at the Canadian Stampede, him slapping Shamrock was such an awesome touch.

I gotta agree with him being underrated. I never hear anyone talk about the guy and when I mention him around friends of mine who watch wrestling, they don't know much about him.

there was a moment i liked in wcw that makes me laugh. heenan had that he couldnt be touched in his contract because of his neck problems. pillman ran around the ring from somebody, grabbed heenan and hid behind him. heenan flipped out all pissed and stuff. that and his first nitro match with jushin thunder liger  |

All the stuff he did with Kevin Sullivan was pretty good, really unique for its time, and all the times where in WCW it would appear that he was going off script "I Respect you, Bookerman". His ECW promos were good as well.

could have HBP. but remember, he wasnt involved in a whole lot due to his ankle being fused and being in so much pain every day from it. i think he would have been a solid guy to give the title instant credibility.

yeah Pillman was great......his stuff with Austin was fantastic IMO.such a pity about his ankle being fused in the walking position.virtually eliminated the style he had worked so hard to perfect.
I often wonder what his role would have been in 98.or if he would even have stayed with Vince after Montreal.

hmmmm. i think, POSSIBLY, if pillman was still around, one of 2 things i think would have went down:
1. he prolly would have stayed after the MSJ
2. left like alot of other talent did because of it and made a huge namw for himself in WCW. by huge, i mean possibly steve austin huge once he hit it big.

Pillman would have stayed after the whole Montreal thing. He knew where his bread and butter was, and that was in the WWF at the time. He would have been a main factor in the Attitude Era for sure.

Im inclined to think he would have been Vinnies first weapon against Austin instead of Foley as Dude Love.
