just came across this picture....  considering you got Strike Force with the Tag Belts, it had to be late 1987 - early 1988, and there's Randy Savage high-fiving Tito Santana, the man he screwed out of the IC Belt with the help of Danny Davis almost a year and a half earlier... sometime stuff like this just makes me laugh...from mortal enemies to best pals/tag partners,just like that!....god,things were so much simpler back then,and people didn't question this type of stuff! |

Survivor Series 87 is a perfect example of that too. How Ricky Steamboat could tag with Jake Roberts and Randy Savage, after what Roberts and Savage did to Steamboat in 1986. Gotta love wrestling for that! haha

Also Bossman and Hogan in 1990 seemed like best buddies with Summerslam and then teammates at Survivor Series. In 1988 Bossman had given Hogan such a beating on the Brother Love Show and Survivor Series.

I totally agree, the WWF should have really gone with a "I don't trust you, but I'l work with you" type of angle on the Steamboat/Jake/Macho team. Boss Man/Hogan at Summerslam 1990 was mindboggling after 18 months that went before, should have used Hacksaw.
What about Jake teaming with Earthquake at Survivor Series 1991 in November, after Quake squashed Damien only 5 MONTHS EARLIER! Ok they didn't work the match after Sid was hurt but did do SS promo's together. That was ridiculous

Tugboat got over Earthquake taking him out too with a rib injury. He felt that tagging with Quake was something that was a must!
I think the greatest example is Hogan in WCW. He goes NWO, turns just not on the fans, but his friends and on WCW, only to embrace WCW and the red and yellow in August of '99, tagging with Sting and Goldberg like the past three years never happened. Beautiful!!
